FYI...he was on the team last year and served as a backup defensive lineman. Perhaps he can get a few snaps this year and help with the depth. I'm sure he would have started at JSU and most of the rest of the SWAC.

tsk, tsk my azz...you know you got really lucky last year. Pete's azz was practically out the door but we let yall yellas get by on us. Hopefully yall will someday be in contention for something during the Bayou Classic. That way we can not focus our attention so much on the championship game. But I understand that those things don't mean much unless it's for baseball, track and field and maybe golf.

Mach, I think he meant judging by the usual GSU standards...Normally, we lead the conference in total defense.

However, they fail to realize that our offense scored soooooo quickly that teams usually had more time of possession than we did. Plus we lost all three linebackers from the previous season and Doug decided to red-shirt a lot of previous props and incoming freshmen. We gambled that we could win it all anyway...and came up winners!

I gotta hand it to you bruh. You got more excuses than the President.

There are two factors that you are ignoring:
1. Langston
2. Morris Brown

With those 2 busters on your schedule, you should have had the best defense in the league. But I think both of those schools scored 30 points on your horrible defense.

JSU had the best defense in the SWAC. Of course Valley in no way had a better defense, and A&M played that c**n defense that leaves WRs wide open, plus we ran over them like they werent there.

I dont know if you know this, but you are proving my point. On the field, we had the best defense. Yes we had one bad game against Gram, but didnt Grams defense have a bad game against SU? Hell SU almost scored 50 points on Gram. We could still be playing that game right now and SU wouldnt have 50 points on us.

I like Valley, and their defense really improved, but surely you dont believe their defense was better than ours.
