Cynthia Cooper a Quick Success at PVAMU

[Fiyah]

Local Fox channel did a story on Cynthia Cooper and the Lady Panthers of Prairie View A&M.

HOUSTON -- Less than two years ago Prairie View A and M Athletic Director Charles McClelland decided he would place the future of the Lady Panther's Basketball team in the hands of former Comets star Cynthia Cooper. He never thought this kind of success so quickly.

Good story. Cynthia is fine too.:ebrow:

[the band fan]

as funny as it sounds...SWAC women's hoops is our bread and butter now...if you can aggressively recruit and coach somewhat you can build a legitimate team easily.

In the past...alot of schools never cared about it.

Nice. I'm very happy for Mrs. Cooper, staff, and players. They worked extra hard and it paid off. Hopefully this rubs off on the other sports programmes @ PVAMU.
