Could we have a SWAC vs. MEAC Play-In Game?

I doubt it. The NCAA already found a way to get out of putting the play in game for HBCU's. I don't think they will ever put two together.

Southern shouldn't be in the play in game with wins against Mississippi State, Wyoming, Tulane and a close loss to Memphis.

If for some reason SU is in the play in game that may not be a bad thing, because if they win the playing game, they (the SWAC) get (revenue) credit for winning the play in game. The same can't be said for a team that enters as a 16-seed and losses to a No.1 seed in the first round.

With Austin Peay in as a straight up 16 seed, it's looking like Southern will be in the play-in game.

Welp...Dayton, Ohio vs. Holy Cross

@bluedog Austin Peay was 7-9 in the OVC, a middle of the road team. Belmont looked like it won the regular season.

I have always agreed with this.

To avoid playing in these Play-In Games, it would be beneficial for the SWAC to schedule more games with MEAC Opponents in Non-Conference Play.

Beat the MEAC Tournament Champion in the regular season, you may avoid the Play-In Game

Smh . If SU would have had a better Swac season with maybe 2-3 losses we would have had a decent seeding as we did really good OC .
