Dammit Kenn where is my boy toy??? :kaioken:

Naw ...Congrats to you both! A SWAC match made in heaven!

Thanks everyone!!!! I's married nah!!!!! :jump:

I can't even type all the words to describe our wedding weekend..........all I can really say is there is a show on WETV called Platinum Weddings and their saying is "If it's perfect, then it's Platinum." Well I guess I had a Platinum Wedding because everything and everyone was PERFECT. I don't have the pics just yet, but I will post a few that my sister took at the reception.

Big shouts to Ms. Sonic as my wedding coordinator........u DID the dayum thang!!!!!:clap::clap: And even with the few incidents that happened up until the ceremony begun, you STILL manage to get it started ON TIME. Yes, a black wedding actually started on time- even I got to the church later than expected. :emlaugh: Thanks again girlie- I owe u BIG TIME.

Also thanks to Mike, Crys (xhale), and Roi (Crit) for being a part of our special day. Again, I can't put it into words how much your time meant to us. ~hugs~

Special shouts to my new HUSBAND Snake. I know yo azz will read this eventually, so u might as well come on in and say heyyyyyy to everyone. :emlaugh:

BTW, we had a fabulous time in Puerto Rico, even though we both came back with insect bites all over us and 2 shades darker!!  And whoever said that the food is bland in PR weren't lying!!! :smh: But we did manage to find a spot across the street for the hotel that had the best "Puerto Rican Style" Beans and Rice. It's like Red Beans and Rice, but it comes in a bowl and u add the rice to it. Guys, you all would love it there because the women there are very pretty- even the older women (like yo momma age and up) were styling and profiling. We couldn't find not one badly dressed woman there! :what: Only thing I didn't like about the natives is that they are very RUDE. Maybe that's just the Southern Girl in me, but I can't stand rude azz folks who don't say "excuse me." But we figured that's just them and how they get down, so I didn't take it personal. And still  @ Snake when he discovered the housekeeping lady look just like one of us, but didn't speak a lick of English. Too funny!! :emlaugh:

Again, thanks to all of you for the well wishes and congrats. ~hugs~ I'll upload the honeymoon pics later this evening, but until then, here's a few from the wedding. Enjoy!!!

I can only imagine. Vette is a beautiful woman and Snake is a very handsome man. Their demeanors are just as beautiful IMO. They were made for each other.

BTW, U shed a tear didn't you? C'mon now... lets be honest. lol I get emotional @ weddings too. :read: :uhoh:

:bawling: :bawling: Thanks P!! :D

Speaking of crying, can ya'll believe that I did not shed ONE tear that entire day??? (I was determined not to mess up that expensive azz make-up  ) And when I came down the aisle, I had to look straight ahead and smile because I saw my mom, my sisters and my cousin crying. I was like "dammit, if I keep looking at them, I will start crying."

Honestly, everything didn't hit me until the next day. And that's when the waterworks happened.

I tried to get out there for a minute, but Detroit stepping is different from Chicago stepping and I was getting confused. So I just went back to the bar. :lmao:

....thanks for the love SP

Last weekend was one of the best days in my entire life. It bought sooo many folks together; kinda like a reunion if you feel me. I was moved by this, because a lot of times folks only get together for sad occasions; i.e. funeral; but this here was for a happy occasion. :) Mannnn....the wedding went by so fast. My wife was more prettier than I EVER imagined. when those doors opened; I d@mned near had a stroke holding back tears. My mind was everywhere wedding day, that I missed a lot of isht; and I caint wait to see the video and wedding pictures to take me through it again, because I'm hearing a lot of stories I didnt know about. For example, I had know idea Jazz(groomsman) was late entering the sanctuary when it was time for him to escort his bridesmaid. Late, as in this jigga walked in by his self yall; his escort had already came in on cue and this jigga was know where to be found when it was time for him to do his dance! WTF??? I'ma kill that jigga lol! I didnt get a chance to check out the entire reception set up, and a lot of other things. Ya know how folks snapping pictures of you, hollaring, hugging, NeNe giving orders lol, etc. But everybody telling me everything was nice; so I'm glad everybody enjoyed themselves.

Like Yvette said, everything turn't(yes turn't...I'm southern lol)out nice. Honestly? I'm glad this isht is OVER lol! Its a lot of work; and a lot of money too  Yvette worked her @ss off planning this thang. She did a LOT of work. Man I lived wedding isht from 7-4-08 until 6-20-09; I mean everyday WEDDING something; thank'ya JESUS its over.

My batchelor party?!?!?OMG!!!Bruhs everywhere!! A&M, Bama State, J-State, Skegee, FAMU, Morris Brown, Clark, etc. Food, Liquor, DJ, and "16 shoe walkers". YES SIXTEEN!!!!!! No Lie!!! They walked in like a pledge line lol! I was like this in the middle of the floor---->:flippy: My party was not the typical male only party; it was coed. Meaning there were regular females present. I'm cool with a lot of females too and they kicked it with me. I had a blast man. Will never forget it.

Yvette pretty much summed up the honeymoon(Puerto Rico); I'm still itching from bug bites as I type. The women there are BEAU-TI-FUL! I did not see a ugly woman. We did Old San Juan, the Barcadi Factory, and hung out on the beach a lot (Where the pics at baby?).

Mike, Crystal, NeNe, and Roi....thanks for everything, I love you guys.

Congrats to you both. Now go and make us a quarterback who can throw, a receiver who can catch, a db who can cover and a linebacker who can tackle.
