Apparently, Bama State ran out of water and cold drinks in the second quarter on Friday (I wasn't there so going by what I was told). I raised this issue after our game against Grambling but once again, how can WE plan better for these games. Bama State knew that this game was going to be a sellout a week ago, there was ample time to get adequate supplies. You may still run out but the second quarter is pretty terrible. Same thing I said when JSU played Grambling, we knew what size crowd to expect, we should have been prepared better.

last I was there (pre pandemic) bama state basically doesn't have wifi in the stadium & no cell signal b/c so many phones in that small area. cash only & it sucks. I can't imagine how much money they let walk away from that place every week b/c you can only pay in cash & the concessions lines are a mile long.

had that problem with Valley last year. got to the front of the line, ordered my food and the woman looked at me crazy when I walked off after she said cash only.

As a whole, we’ve got to do better. Cash only, internet service not working, lack of concessions, few competent workers, etc. We are not good at logistics period. I’ve been to every stadium in the SWAC except the Florida schools and Bama State’s new stadium and all have one or more of those issues.

like I said, last time I was at bama state pre-pandemic they had all those issues. I hope to be there this weekend for the valley game since I couldn't make it last week. they need to bring in a portable tower for games so fans can get a signal. other schools do it. you've got to go cashless in your stadium. and... you need an app that will allow fans to stay in their seat and for you to deliver their order to them. this ain't hard, it just has to be a priority. order in the app.
 
The concessions area ran out of water; however, the vendors in the end zone area had water and beer. I bought a 3 dollar bottle of water after the game. No complaints about the price. I would have paid 5 dollars (it was too hot)...
