Coach Marino Casem was dead accurate at the Sports Hall of Fame Dinner.

Unless we as SWAC HBCUs get people who know the SWAC atmosphere and ARE GOOD MANAGERS, that is the only way we can only hope to return to prominance. Coach Casem couldn't have said it any clearer or better. THAT IS THE FACT.

Yeah, but I don't know if he is a good example. We wouldn't have had Coach Richardson if he had anything to say about it at the time ( he wanted Archie Cooley to be coach or himself). I remember seeing him riding around in the golf cart going to station to station on the news (during football practice)--never walking anywhere. I dated a guy for a minute (at SU) that said Casem was eating a whole bucket of damn chicken while he was trying to recruit him in his office.
