Clinton revives campaign in Ohio, Texas

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton threw up a roadblock on Sen. Barack Obama?s path to the Democratic presidential nomination by winning the giant Ohio and Texas primaries, NBC News projected Wednesday morning.

?For everyone here in Ohio and across America who?s been counted out and refused to be knocked out, and for everyone who has stumbled but stood right back up, and for everyone who works hard and never gives up, this one is for you,? Clinton said at a raucous rally in Columbus on a night when she took both of the two major prizes on offer.

Clinton, D-N.Y., and Obama, D-Ill., split the smaller Rhode Island and Vermont primaries, according to NBC News .

Congrats to her if true...

Folks are still VOTING in Houston and Dallas (not even at the Caucus yet).

:what:

I wouldn't start celebrating just yet if I was Hill. Who knows what could happen over in the night. Let us pray. :angel2:

:angel2:

Don't let um steal your joy sweetie, remember Barack had a double digit lead to overcome. He accomplish well above what the original goal was and still will have both the elected and Super delegate lead.

Hillary definitely stepped it up.. Even after she was under immense pressure to just drop out, she still managed to deliver 3 slam dunks tonight. She's definitely a fighter.

Well I just got back from the caucus and let me tell you....that shat should be SCRAPPED NOW!!!!

In my voting place the full caucus procedure was not explained until the MAJORITY of people had cast their votes and LEFT. I was under the impression(and probably most of the people voting and leaving) that the votes would be counted and PRE SELECTED delegates would be divided up by proportion of votes. However after few people were left it was explained that each precinct must select delegates from the people STILL LEFT ANNNNDDDD those people must go to another convention on March 29th. If nobody stayed then you could not be sure that your vote was reflected properly in the selected delegates and you wouldn't know what type of supporter going to represent you.

Sure enough a group of Hillary supporters in our precinct tried to run through the process without letting everyone participate and tempers FLARED. Obama ended up winning the votes 65 to 32 we determined that he got 8 delegates but when it was time to select there were barely 8 delegates left that could make the convention. On top of it all the papers that were filled out to count as votes WERE NOT SEALED IMMEDIATELY and people are allowed to take these home as long as they have them back by Friday.

To once again sum it up...

1. The process was not explained up front.
2. An explanation was not given until the majority of people left.
3. The final tally is in no way sealed or protected at the election site.
4. Poor planning cause people to start leaving after waiting in the cold for a couple of hours.

This shat should flat out be scrapped.

Oh and by the way if it holds true with the way the delegates are alloted in Texas then Obama is winning in the places he needs to take the most delegates. This will be interesting to watch.
