Uh dude, I lived in H-town for almost a decade(91 to 2000) and still visit quite often. Don't tell what I don't know about that city man. I know that Houston is basically SU west or LA west. No wonder yall try to be like SU. BTW, Do what ya wanna was not release before 83. Not the Rebirth arrangement of it anyway. Hell them cats were still in school (JS Clark High in NO) back then. LOL

Hell P, I would love to move back to Houston. I miss all my fellow Jags down there. LOL. Aint nothing like a H-town party. I used think I liked the ATL over Houston, but after living in both places I have to admit I like Houston more.....it was a close call though. I like Minneapolis and all but I shole would like roll back to Texas. Now watch TBF come in here with some nonsense.

but I'm looking at a copy of the paper in Hammond from Dec. 29 when SLU women played TSU...big arse picture on the front of the sports section w/ these players with Maroon jerseys with "Southern" all big ...the pic isn't online..but I have the hard copy here...

The word "Texas" looked non-existant in 2.7mm high letters :rolleyes:. All I remember seeing was "SOUTHERN" in BOLD WHITE BIG 5 inch letters across the chest. :shame:

Damn... :shame: Whomever came up w/ that design should've been fired a while ago. :tdown:
 
Panthro....it took me 20 minutes to show the official scorer where the word Texas was on the jersey. LOL.....And she STILL didn't see it until a player came to check in. As small and dark as it is, it may as well not be there period.

THEY HAVE SOUTHERN IN BIG LETTERS AND A SMALL TEXAS ON THE FRONT ON THE MAROON IT LOOKS AS IF NOTHING IS THERE @ ALL JUST THE WORD SOUHTHERN,SO DONT GET IT TWISTED.
 
Whats the point in having SOUTHERN across the chest anyway? I'll be damned if I ever catch PV with jerseys that had 'A&M" across the chest and 'Prairie View' written somewhere thats virtually invisible.

C-Leb....It don't matter how you explain it...I'm looking at the pic right now at my desk and lo and behold all i see is the word "SOUTHERN" in big arse white letters across the chest...You can't see no "Texas" on them jerseys, mane!!!

DFW metroplex for Port City... although we'd be getting a lot more people...there's no real difference between the two areas...besides.would we REALLY want the H-E-B???

Now the H-town for Port city deal...that could work..Houston seems more like home than Shreveport...Hell, they even play bounce on Houston radio stations sometimes...
