A very important key to having a championship caliber college football team is a TRUE dual threat QB. He can cover for other team deficiencies. Most of the last 11 FBS Championships have been won by dual threat QBs. Also, usually no team can beat university of Alabama without a dual threat QB.
The university of Texas still does not have a TRUE dual threat QB. However, they have one for the 2018 recruiting class. At OSU and UH, coach Herman had TRUE dual threat QBs.
