Catching Folks in Lies

Warndalyn

Postmaster General!!!
Do you have a talent for this? I was told a few times, that I do...if you catch someone in a lie, do you confront them on it, or do you just let it slide and play/laugh it off?

Man if I had a nickel for every woman that caught me I would be rich. I just learned to cry when they catch me. It makes them feel sorry for me. Then we make up. :ebrow: Black women don't forget nothing. How do you gals keep up with all that mess I don't know.

The best part is when you catch someone in a lie and don't confront them about it. You just let them continue to lie.

It depends on what the lie is in reference to. Sometimes it is better to let it go...it is not worth the trouble.

See I've learned to just tell women up front "Look I'm a man and that means I lie time from time. So when you catch me in one don't get mad because I warned you up front. Sometimes men lie for the heck of it.".

I don't say anything. Why give a reason to hear another lie? Usually the truth comes out later (sometimes waaaaay later) without any prompting.

If I am lying to a woman I probably don't care enough to be worried about being caught.

Right. I think it boils down to importance and dependance, what sayeth thous? If they're important enough to you and you're dependant upon them in some form, then I would hasten to guess that it (they) really matters. Otherwise, WGAF? :lmao:

That's me. It just tickles to me to hear them tell one lie to cover that one...:shame:

I used to be a Lie Buster, now I just listen, know the truth, & move on! If need be, I'll later reference prior inconsistencies w/current fabrications or revelations. Normally, such actions are met with silence......& a hasty move to the next topic. I've learned to play crazy, but not BE crazy! :ebrow:

Hmmm.. I hear ya and if I am lying to a man I probably don't care enough to be worried about being caught either. :lmao:

I hate habitual liars with a passion.

So, so true ! Some lies are so lame that you have to say something sometimes, because I am thinking (Do they really think I believe this sh_ _?)
But, usually I just move on !

yes ma'am...looking a man directly in his eyes will tell you a lot. Most men can't look a woman directly in their eyes anyway...that also tells you a lot about that particular brother. :lecture:

Man this sounds like a roommate of mine from college. Dude was dating two girls at the same time. He thought he was getting away with it. Well the girls eventually found out about each other, but did not say anything to him about it. One of them told him she wanted to get a room at a hotel. Little did he know he was being set up and when they showed up at the room, the other girl was there waiting. They roasted his azz.

I laughed so hard at him because we(the fellas) warned him about them girls finding out about each other.

I confront them to see how creative their next lie is going to be. See how fast they think on their feet.

This is true and at the same time, some will force a look in your eye to try to play on you... :lecture:

I guess that's why I love to look women in their eyes. I notice they smile when you look them directly in their eyes when you talk to them.

I LOVE to look a woman directly in her eyes. My light brown eyes have talked alot of females out of their clothes before I even opened my mouth.
