I think that Alcorn is about to get a big letdown. JSU has had a much tougher schedule and now we are starting to become more balanced on offense. Also, do not forget that our defense was changed after the Alabama State game.

Alcorn will be out of it by Halftime.

Attendance will be between 55-60K. They won't count the JSU students.

I think Alcorn has a legitamite shot. JSU has already proved this year that their defense is like a 7-11 open all night! If Alcoorn can get any kind of passing game going, they might have a field day against JSU's secondary. The question is, can the Braves defense force Kent into making his customary 3 bone head plays a game.

Any team can be beaten on any given day, so if I were you I wouldn't brag so much, so soon. And as for you Kool-Aid2K1, it's true that Kennedy may have been hurt when ASU beat "Bama, but tell me, what's the excuse for 'Bama giving JSU a loss? Hmmm...

Kennedy was not hurt when they played JSU. That's the difference.

As for those of you touting the Brave's pass defense, name one team with a passing attack that they've played. Kennedy didn't play them so you can rule Bama State out. And if their run defense is as bad as one of the Brave posters stated in an earlier post, that might also explain. Who needs to pass when they running all over you. bornthrilla used to post that same garbage about having the #1 pass defense in the country. They got torched all game long. Save the stats. They won't mean nothing when the ball kicks off.

Alcorn has played an inferior schedule, complete with D2 squads. They caught a break with Bama State. If JSU turns the ball over 10 times, they might win. It took an 8 turnover advantage for Bama State to win by 3 points. And that was with 2 non-offensive TDs. It took A&T a 7 turnover advantag to win by 7 points. And that was with 3 non-offensive TDs. Alcorn ain't on either one of their level.

Tell em again Robber.......

First of all to the guy who suggested that McKenzie might be JSU's next coach, No chance buddy.

Second, if Alcorn had played JSU's schedule, they be looking at a 3-6 record coming into this game at best.

Also for all those who smcak JSU's defense, who besides Bama State can say that their team truly took advantage of JSU's secondary? Our special teams is the reason that we aren't undefeated, not the defense.

Just like a typical "Jacksonian." If Kennedy was not hurt when JSU played 'Bama, then that still proves my point. The only team you "skull dragged" this year was Valley. You beat SU by chance, and you barely beat Pine Bluff. I'm not trying to brag, but don't get so defensive...it's only a game!

And who did Alcorn "skull drag"??? Point out one dominating Alcorn victory. With a schedule littered with cream puffs, y'all had to fight tooth and nail for damn near all your wins.

Don't worry, somebody is about to get skull drug Saturday. And it ain't gonna be JSU. Steve McNair ain't QB'ing for y'all no mo. It's gonna be a long time before y'all beat us again.

McNair has been gone for 6 yrs, and you all are so glad that you have had a chance to win until you can't stop talking about it. Like I said before, I haven't seen any "blowout" scores from JSU either. It's not about how many points you score, but about who has the most points when the game is over. I'm not bragging, but I just hope you're not disappointed.

golden,

What's Alcorn's record??? I'm betting JSU has outscored more folk than Alcorn has. What you think???

You keep talking about what team outscored the other, when it's all about winning. From the looks of it even PV gave JSU a run for their money. JSU has won only one game more than ASU and you act like they have been playing all I-A schools. They're playing the same teams Alcorn play, and sometimes barely winning. I don't have too much pride to admit that Alcorn had a terrible season last year and they still have work to do considering what they have done this year but don't act like JSU is some top ranked team that can't be beat. I said it once, and I'll say it again, any team can be beaten on any given day.;)

Hey Truthteller,

Post a picture of the Russian Golden Girls they had on TV last night. I can't wait to see the one who said she has learned to shake her boo-ttt like American Women.:D :D :goodbad:

One of those girls is not on the squad, and one is. The one that's not on the squad just cheers and supports them. The other one...oh...you'll see her in action at the game.
