I'm crying... Lmaooo!!! Real talk tho, I hope we don't have any academic casualties and all of our signers are eligible. It's looking pretty good, praying nobody gets injured!

Lee Doss cousin is Willie Young who torched the ****side for that 90 yard TD :lmao:

Jag-BR,

We have plenty of footage of JSU whooping SU. You sure you wanna go there youngin?
Smack Rule #1 (Don't smack in areas in which you are weak!)

and the best you have is an OT loss? Really? NWState blew ya'll out like they were an SEC team.

And how many of those so called whoopings translate into a damn championship? I'll wait.

Rule 1, DONT SMACK IF YOU DONT HAVE MULTIPLE CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Ole Bluedog was scared to post that article about SU expectations on TSPN. He posted it on the MEAC board.. LOL

You all lose your d-line from an already sorry azz defense and you STILL don't have a QB.

I will say this tho.. MOST of us would struggle with your September schedule. Ya'll gonna finish 1-4 in September. No sense in denying it.. but let's see if the team can gel and save your season in October.

Dude. We got several starters from the DL returning. Where you read that? The guys gone are Tiller, Balancier, West, Williams and Mack that played. 1 DL, 2 LB and 2 DBs. Miley, Allen, Jordan return on the DL. Detrane, D Brown at LB and Woodland and Mc Duffy at DB. We got a host of players back. You are in for a rude of awakening. I will not get into the Transfers Big Worm brought in.

No one is concerned about transfers.. MOST of them never pan out.

But I got it from an article Bluedog posted on the MEAC page. It's lets everyone know what I have been saying. You have no QB... and then you only have two DL starters returning.. LOL

Jag-BR, I bet noone from JSU goes to the Advocate.. why? (unless we need a good laugh, of course).

Bwahahahahahahaha and some are still coming in. I hope theadvocate keep those lil tidbits out of the paper. You know they check it daily. All I know is Ledbetter and McDuffy. :read:

You are a lie

You are a lie

LOL.. dude I have NO reason to go to the Advocate. I know what ya'll got .. NOTHING. I am glad that Worm knew ya'll needed some IMMEDIATE talent and brought in some transfers but he still can't coach. I already know ya'll gonna start off 1-4 but you all should go 5-2 or 4-3 the rest of the way.

Is that all you got? NW State?

I think the article mentioned both of them... Im sure you know which one I am talking about...

NONE of this really sounds too good... but at least you return an experience o-line.. first string anyway.. LOL

1. Crowded under center

The quarterback competition was the most talked-about story in the spring and it will continue to be during preseason camp until coach Dawson Odums names a starter. Redshirt freshmen Deonte Shorts and Francis Kanneh are still in a close battle that has been joined by true freshmen Austin Howard of West St. John and Jarrad Hayes of Central. Whoever wins the job will be inexperienced and won’t be counted on to throw as much as Dray Joseph was. They will lean on an experienced offensive line and deep and talented groups of running backs and wide receivers while they grow into the position.

2. The go-to receiver

Joseph’s graduation coincided with that of Lee Doss, the other half of one of the most prolific passing combinations in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. It wouldn’t be surprising if no one player matches Doss’ productivity (78 catches, 1,172 yards, 11 touchdowns) and that’s OK with Odums. Receiver is one of the most talented and deepest positions on the team, featuring a half-dozen or so candidates to be regular targets. Odums would be content to spread the ball around equally if defenses play the receivers straight up.

3. The depth on the offensive line

The line is the most experienced unit  on the team with four returning starters and an experienced player in Brandon Thibodeaux stepping in as the fifth starter at center. The backups, though, are primarily inexperienced, so it will be important for those on the second unit to distinguish themselves in preseason camp so the coaching staff will know who to turn to if the need arises. The Jaguars will be cautious with senior Zach Brown at left guard, though he’s almost fully recovered from shoulder surgery. With three seniors starting, it will also be important to groom successors.

4. The rebuilt secondary

The starting defensive backfield is expected to be comprised of four juniors and a senior, but the experienced unit still has to replace former starters Johnathan Mack and Virgil Williams. Dionte McDuffy and D’Andre Woodland are returning starters, but the three new starters feature two newcomers. Kevin King is joined by transfers Rhaheim Ledbetter (Florida) and Renaldo Thomas (Tulane) as new starters. The preseason will be important for building continuity within a very talented group.

5. New sidekicks for Miley and Brown

The front six features senior leaders in Arthur Miley at left end and Daniel Brown at Sam linebacker, but the others up front are first-year starters. Junior Donald Phillips is penciled in at right end, and senior Jaylen Jordan is the nose tackle. Junior Javon Allen is expected to start at Mike linebacker, and sophomore Demetrius Carter at Buck, though freshmen Aaron Tiller and Kentavious Preston and junior Tim Patterson all seem destined for significant playing time on a unit the must replace Anthony Balancier and Franchot West, who combined for 167 tackles last season.

But hey, JSU replaced our entire d-line and still did well, didn't we MH (:snicker:)

It shouldn't matter. Yet, nothing is posted from the clarionledger. I don't see anybody from any other school post schit from theadvocate but JSU. Sad

If you call this doom and gloom, I'd love to see what you call what yall have.

Many of these "new" starters played against jSU in the SCG.

I stay amazed at the fact that you all didn't see how bad ya'll were and that Worm can't coach. Seems to me that ya'll would say.. "DAYUM.. JSU took us to two OTs and fired their coach.. maybe we need to look at firing ours?" But noooo, ya'll staring 6-6 AT BEST in the face and bragging about beating probably the worst JSU team since 2009.

Ya'll gonna learn tho..

Oh.. I did post ya'll skinny QB.. :lmao:

Again you spew non revalent rhetoric. Lol. I feel sorry for you TP. You live in a JSU world so much that you can't see or think straight when it comes to football. Oh well. I tried to warn you what's coming. But as usual we get more TPish excuses.

If you call this doom and gloom, I'd love to see what you call what yall have.

Dude, Comegy came to BR with McCall as OC and whooped ya'll. Then he took McCall to Houston and took ya'll to 2 OTs. You don't know how bad that is. Timmy Chang gonna have a field day on that sorry defense.. and your offense won't be hitting on schitt. You know it and I know it. JSU didn't have good QB to begin with.. ya'll didn't either but he was the heart and soul of your team... and now he is gone. .. and ya'll in trouble. You all would have lost to AAMU and PV and BAMA State last eyar if you didn't have him.
