How many Iraqi women and children will be killed in this senseless act of American aggression? Why are we being driven to war on a personal vendetta?

These are dark days for America, indeed. I guess this is what happens when your president is appointed by the Supreme Court and not elected by the people (BTW - Bush STILL trails Gore by over 500,000 votes.)

Our country will become less safe, not more so. And when I hear these idiots talk about "freeing Iraq", I laugh my head. Every one knows that Americans don't give a sh!t about Iraqi's.

I guess it is okay to kill man, woman and beast in pursuit of oil. May God forgive us for what we are about to do!

Baby killer

With that you also have to think about America. There's no telling what Sadam has planned for us either.
 



A baby killer is the worse thing you can call somebody. If that's the case every president is a baby killer. In short do limit it to just Bush. Remember our second great white hope, Kennedy deployed nuclear weapons, Clinton was our second great white hope.

I don't like Bush. But I wish people against fighting could say something original instead of repeating every "scare me to death, women and children" phrase they hear over and over on these talking head news shows!!

those idiotic Al-Queda 9/11 planners didn't give a s*&% about women and children, matter of fact they counted on it.

I am against the war, it is a silly act of U.S. aggression and a LD (learning disability) president. I blame all of you that voted for him.

But war is war. The Iraqi people should get the balls enough to stand up to him, if not suffer the consequences.

I do think that Bush let his mouth get him into something that his arse can't get him out of. What I mean by that is after all this time saying that he was going to go get Saddam, if he backs out without firing a shot then every jihad believing idiot out there will begin taking shots at us.
 
My biggest problem with this war that Bushy is waging, is the fact that after 9/11/2001, he got on the airwaves with all his "cowboy talk" about capturing Osama Bin Laden....DEAD OR ALIVE! Much time and effort was spent looking for the man in every rathole in the Middle East. Just before Christmas of that year, the president's? advisors were on CNN proclaiming that "Bin Laden is dead." That's what you have to say when you've put a price on a man's head, and you can't find him.

My question following those antics was "If he is dead, show me the spot where his body lies." And with the kind of bounty placed on him, you can best believe that even one of his own country's citizens would have swam the Atlantic with his body in boat to collect millions.


The bottom line is...he made himself look like an inept fool (which wasn't hard for him) after his bold proclaimation, and then to clean it up, decided he'd go after Sad-dam because "the man tried to kill his diddy!"


I'm no proponent of war in any case, but if it were Osama, and he indeed knew where the man was located, I could at least garner some degree of understanding.

I agree, BUT, is that any worse than the minions who are hungry for war, attacking all the protestors as "treasonists," "traitors," and "un-American?"

This act of aggression isn't about Sept. 11. Iraq wasn't involved. There were Saudis involved...

No, it's not. All I am saying is that when someone utter's one of these "catch phrases" an tv, all the ducks line up in a row and repeat it over and over.

As far as the "minions that are hungry for war", I guess you are talking about the terrorist who have been killing men, women, babies, and blowing stuff up since the Lebanon Marine bombing. It didn't matter what the U.S. did, these terrorist were not going to stop. They kill, blow up buildings and then threaten a Holy War if you did something afterwards. Nobody want's to go to war, and belive me, I don't like Bush, but sometimes you have to pull your head out of the sand and say enough is enough. Bush is labeled a baby killer, but Saddam can gas an entire village of women and babies and that's all right. As long as the U.S. is on the receiving end of things, everything is ok in the eye's of the "it's our fault they keep blowing things up" groups.
 
We have created the enemies we have, this is reality. If we would be "the light of the world" this country was created to be, then we would not have these problems.

We should have listened to George Washington when he warned us about the danger of political parties and foreign alliances.

Enough of what? Where did you see me refer to Bush as a baby-killer? I have referred to our president as many things..."intellectually destitute" is my favorite. Once again, how do you feel that those who support his plans for war have any more right to refer to those who have marched in protest of this war as "treaonists" and "haters of America?" Hell, their rights end where the marchers' begins.

Another oxymoron of this whole war issue, is that many who support it, want to take away the very same freedoms of people whom they claim this war is suppose to protect.

Hypocrisy....the mantra of the conservatives as far as I'm concerned! :smh:

Thanks Soph cause I was beginning to think I missed the report that said Iraq was tied to 9-11. It amazes me how stupid some of the American people can be. And didn't they(Bush) start out demanding that Iraq get rid of all their WMD? Now we're demanding the man and and his sons get outta their own country?

First of all, show me where I said you called Bush a baby killer. This thread referred to Bush as a baby killer. As far as you protesting against the war, have at it. You can protest 24/7 as far as I'm concerned, it's your right. I could care less. But while you express the right to protest, please don't call people that don't agree with your point of view "minions".

And by the way, just because I agree with what's going on, don't take for granted that I am a conservative, repub or whatever. I have never voted repub, and now the demo's are so "it's not my fault p.c. hypocrits", when I do vote, I feel the need for anti-bio's from the neighborhood clinic. :smh:

What I find stupid is that in the earily 1990's everybody was saying that Saddam did not have a programs to build NUKES. He did. The inempt UN inspectors could not and did not find it, his son-in-law defected and exposed this to the world. Saddam would have no problem giving those wepons to any idoit willing to strap a chemical, biological, or nucelar weapon and using it here against us. As much as I liked Clinton, if he had taken a firmer stand against North Korea, we would not have that problem today. I say take out Saddam and then the Iranian who also announce that they have nucelar capabilties.
What I find niave is the people who say that this is not connected to 9/11. To this I say, if there is the slightest connection to 9/11 then take out the SOB's. This maynot be a popular stand, but I do not care. My way of life for me and my family outweigh some libreal bleeding heart that say keep talking. "L" we have begged and pleaded for 12 years when is enough is enough. 9/11 gave us the moral respondsibilty to do whatever is necessary to protect my way of life.

Understand this. Fifteen out of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. YES, MOST OF THE HIJACKERS WERE SAUDIS. None were Iraqis. We have seen no evidence of Saddam Hussein?s support or connection to 9/11. Yet, people in this administration said it enough so people will believe it. Note that the Saudis are our friends.

Well, the cities of Iraq are spread out across a rather broad area. If the Iraqi military doesn't hold up in civilian areas, then there should be very few casualties of women or children. Both Coalition and Iraqi intelligence have identified all of the known military installations.

First, let start at the beginning. Bush is an illegitimate president. He did NOT win the popular vote and did NOT win in Florida. A bunch of computer foulups and a badly designed ballot and a complicit supreme court allowed him to become president. HE DID NOT WIN.

Second, there are lots of tyrants in this world. The only reason we are in Iraq is because of our oil interest and the fact that Saddam ordered a "hit" on Bush's daddy. In other words, this is PERSONAL. American lives will die over a personal vendetta.

Finally, we need to understand that Bush created the Office of Strategic Information which was designed to promote lies to the people in order to influence their social construction of reality. In other words, this was an office of propaganda, circa 2001.

And finally, there IS NO DIRECT LINK BETWEEN SADDAM AND OSAMA. I am surprised that you would allow this dubious logic to go unchecked.

Your right!! One was a scud ... it was shot down. The other 2 were Chinese. These things do not travel high. They are mainly used against SHIPS. They hug the ground and are hard to shoot down. That's 2 weapons he was not to have, and did not have, according to the U.N.
