Straw please qualify this ridiculous statement. Who told you this foolishness? The Distinguished Christian Gentleman Friend again?

TRU3000 said:How many quality players was Bell able to recruit this year? didnt he have to go the Juco route because the high school players didnt want to play for him?
We are loaded at positions while JSU didnt even have enough players to have a Spring game. now who is better off JSU or AAMU? :lmao:
MightyDog said:Prior to Bell JSU did alright, QUOTE]
..yeah, on AAMU's smalltime standard.
Tigerpride said:TRU,
I am sure that when Bell returns the talent to Jackson, that he will focus on more HS recruits like he did his first two years.

TP, it seems that Bell did much better speaking at Media Day than Last year. He will be your coach for the next five years.

Robber said:They all up in our shat, and their own is smelling worse than raw sewer. Got players flunking out left and right and signees who can't get past shapes, numbers and colors.
Need to worry about themselves and stay outta ours.
Mike said:Coldsnot! I didn't ever say what you claim I said. I think you have me mixed up with TP saying that Bell only looked at recruits that could actually come in and play their first year. I never said anything about all our recruits being eligible.
As in most years, A&M enters preseason practice with question marks.
The biggest ones are along the offensive line and in the secondary.
. Depth is also a major concern given that all of the second-team players are freshmen or sophomores.

Did you read the article? How many scholarships can a D1aa program award?
Now when you figure that out, look at how many the coach has already said are in camp and eligible. Then subtract how many scholarships that leaves him with. We couldn't give them schalrships unless we broke them up more, anyway. Dayum, I thought you would've picked that up....:smh:
Once they are eligible, they can get a piece of the pie and join the rest of the team in kicking Bell & jsu's arse every year. You know yall stuck with him (Bell) for three more years regardless of what his record is this year, right?

GR has to give it to you man. You are so far ahead of your time. GR just didn?t realize it. Four years ago when you said that ?any player that can read his name would never sign with a black college?.... you weren?t speaking out of ignorance, you were speaking from experience. A&M is use to only signing players that cant read their own name. GR has to give it to you mane. GR thought he was the pioneer thinker on this board, but nnnnooooooo?..its you.
You shole is right, Get Ready!!!Get Ready said:Mike....GR likes....GR likes
You got more excuses than a nukka in jail. You forgot the one about black folks not having planes to bring drugs into the country, or the kids didnt have a father growing up. You might want to add that to your list of excuses.
This is a damn shame. Is Jones really this dumb? Wait....my bad...TGO just asked a stupid question.

If you haven't realized something yet, it's that last year our best players on the team were Freshmen and Sophomores, 13 seniors and less that half of that were starters. This year those players are Juniors and Sophomores/R-Freshmen, hence the dept being made up of those players. And just in case you can't comprehend pretty well, I will repeat what Mike was trying to explain to you simpletons. We didn't have many schollys to offer this year (you know like when Dumb Bell signed 12 or so folks last year) so we went ahead and offered to props this year. We have 89 people in camp NOT INCLUDING the 12 that are ineligible. We aren't hurting #s wise. It's like Coach Jones said, we got them in house now, and if the students-athletes do their parts in the classroom they will contribute down the road. We weren't counting on any of those Freshmen who were ineligible to start. Those spots are already filled. The Freshmen were 2nd-3rd stringers at best this year.
