Brent Musberger

Devil's Gun Trigger Man

onward and upward son!
I saw where he apologized for comments he made regarding A.J. McCarron's girlfriend and wife during the BCS Title game. Did I miss something? I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. Folks will blow anything out of proportion.

Man that old man was getting all hot an bothered with those comments. It was almost like he was getting a Hard on for her in the booth...SMH

She was alright but dang Brett..

Brett wanted to give her his check...

Game was basically over and they was filling in space. Ya'll know brett and ole boy in the announcers chairs was probably on a little bit of that kentucky burbon by then.

I didn't think he did or said anything in appropriate... hell, they were filling space at one game talking about how had AIDS!

Brent might have been. Herbstreit wasn't. LOL. You could tell Herby was uncomfortable. Even though he understood what was Brent was saying about the QBs get all the nice babes since he has a trophy wife as well that went to Ohio State with us back then. Well she used to be decent, you know how they age. LOL. He also made mention of Johnny Heisman err Johnny Football too. Brent was just having fun. But you could tell he was loving McCarron's girl. He kept saying, There she is folks. Ms Alabama. LOL.

Well technically it was after those first two Bama touchdowns. LOL. But I know what you are saying.

It was early and it's how he said it. Man dude sounded like he left half his saliva on the microphone...SMH

I understand where he was coming from but he went whoa nelly on her...Ham I tell yah. And Kirt was like yeah but Lacey running that ball Bret....

Having to apologize is a bit much. .. But Brent was trippin' a bit. I mean. He didn't say anything vulgar or obsecene. But he was just "tooo" into it. "WoW, look at her" "Wow, look at his mom" "Wow wow wow" and. . "hey kids, get out there an toss the ball around with the old man 'cause Qb's get some top notch coochie" ...

Bad taste, yes but they are overblowing it with all this witch hunt stuff.

Man yall to sensitive. It was not that serious. For real. I see why these kids are weak in 2013. Fox New says worst about Michelle Obama and Rush Limbaugh everyday.

Cee it's not sensitivity it's just that It made folks feel uncomforable.. I have three daughter and they growing up fast. Butts, pretty eyes, chest growing. You get my drift. Those comments as a father made me cringue. As man I understood his comments he just went ham on National TV. And no he does not need to apologize...

She was a grown woman though. I can see if it was a teen age girl, but a 21 plus year old Pagent woman who wears bikinis on national tv. He did not cross the line. It was just the reality of life. Men will always be attractive to pretty women. Most of the same folks got mad at Obama and the Dems for pushing gay legislation though.

The plight of manhood in America is getting worse and worse. Feminists are taking our balls one set at time.

I could see it both ways here. I wasn't offended by what Musburger said. But I could understand why he had to apologize, though.

The part where he said something along the lines of young boys should go in the backyard with pops and throw around football so you can one day get a good-looking piece of ass like AJ McCarron (even though we all know athletes, especially the good ones, get ass thrown at them and offered to them because they're good at sports) Yeah, that might have been a bit much.

You don't want to make it seem like you're objectifying her. Funny as hell, but Brent should have stopped while he was ahead. LOL

One day after ESPN apologized for Brent Musburger "going too far" in his comments about Katherine Webb, the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron and former Miss Alabama said she didn't think such a gesture was necessary.

The former Miss Alabama discussed her newfound fame and ESPN's mea culpa on Today with Matt Lauer.

"I think the media has been really unfair to [Musburger]. I think if he had said something along the line if we were hot or sexy, I think that would be a little bit different," Webb told Matt Lauer.

"The fact that he said we were beautiful and gorgeous, I don't think any woman wouldn't be flattered by that. I appreciate it, but at the same time I don't think I needed an apology."
