What I'm saying CD is that they have Hoover (leader of GD or Folks) in prison too. I'm sure they may have him on some related/similar charges. Do he get executed too?

You wanna bet. Look at every article, editorial, and TV report you see. Every title will start, "Co-founder of the Crips", "Gang-Boss", "Leader of the notorious murdering Crips." and so on and so on. That cat has a snowball chance in hell of being granted clemency, whether he deserved it or not. Nobody wants to be the guy who let the "King Crip" get off.

Hoover is currently serving a 200-year sentence in an Indiana prison for a 1973 gang-related murder. He has been repeatedly denied parole. But still, it's an apples and oranges comparison.

Beans, you know it depends on who and how you kill. If Tookie had killed a bunch of us, he would not be on death row. Heck he may still walking the street. I always have said this. Whether Tookie is innocent, I don't know. We all know the system is set up for the wealthy to work around it. More than likely he has probably killed a bunch of his own black people and got away with it. But killing the Asian family punched his ticket.

I am for the death penalty for heinous crimes. I just hope that the judicial system does a fair analysis of the evidence before carrying out the sentence on individuals convicted of those type of crimes .

As far as deterring crimes. Not having the death penalty aint going to help it either. I am willing to bet the number of murders would increase if there was no death penalty in those states.

JAYDOG...................Look at the background of a lot of the '60's, '70's figures and I would not be surprised if a lot of them were born in Mississippi, Louisana, or Alabama.

A lot of people are born here.......................AND A LOT OF PEOPLE BACK THEN GOT THE HECK OUT THE FIRST CHANCE THEY GOT.:nod2:

JOKE ........................Mississippi supplied CHICAGO with black people.
That's why dang near everybody you meet from CHI-Town has "people" in Mississippi.:lmao:

Now don't give me that crap you don't know if he did the killings. If you would take 15 minutes to look over the evidence against him you would know he did it. I'm sick of the Black = innocent mess.

Cookie Murdered 4 people in cold blood for a couple of Coins and a pack of bubble-yum . He had the money....He killed them for the Hell-ov-it!!! And then makes Ki-Ki's about it with everyone around town. :kaioken: And he was black man, and he didn't care. Black, White, fool, or Freak he gets no love from me.

He murdered those 4 people. Get it. He killed them you can belive it. No mix-ups, No evidence tampering, No Race-Card, No Grassy-knowle. No Conspericy theories. Get over it.

Cold Blood Murder= Cookie Williams.

Let me first say that I'm 100% OPPOSED to the Death Penalty. I believe it is morally wrong. If I was governor, I would do like George Ryan and commute every death sentence to life w/o parole.

However If we're going to have the death penalty, then once all the appeals have been exhausted, it needs to be carried out. Redemption cannot and should not save you from death row. There is God's law and man's law. In the legal system we follow man's law. Once man deems you no longer fit to live, then that's final. Any good works on your part should be done with the intention of saving your soul. You ass belongs to the state.

Don't you just love our wonderful barbaric country?:(

1. Studies have shown that 1) the death penalty does not deter crime and 2) it is on average more expensive than life in prison w/o parole.

2. You can't expect fair analysis from a system that is fundamentally unfair.

Please remember that the GOOD BOOK also instructs us to follow the laws of the land. So if we do have the death penalty, the all appeals should be exhausted. If after those said appeals, nothing is changed then the convict must die. Serving life in prison in the US is a joke. The penal system needs to tell the ACLU to shut da ufck up and bring back hard labor. As of now prisoners live better than a good portion of law-biding citizens.

"The Crips were already well established when Tookie came on the scene," said retired Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. and gang expert Wes McBride.

"There's not a whole lot of difference between the Crips of today and the Crips of yesteryear, only there's more of them," McBride said. "They are more involved in narcotics trafficking than they used to be, but Crips will do whatever they can to make money. Bank robberies, armored car robberies."

"Their legacy is that they've helped destroy the black community," McBride said. "Gangs kill communities just as surely as they kill people."
