I got All about the Benjamins, and them 2 old ladies made me flip out the couch, because of scene that happened early in the movie.

Reggie - What are these for?
Mrs Steinburg - These are for when I need to get my freak on.

Mary Poppins...that's one of my most favorite movies, of all times.

um Suge and DNICE, y'all are NOT on the hard brothers list, fa sho. :shame:

Warndalyn our movie selection makes us true hard brothers. Anybody can claim what they have, and keep the not so hard stuff to themselves, but only a true hard brother can admit they like Mary Poppins, and the like, and dare a muthaphugga to question them about it. :redhot: :devil2:  ;)

NICE

Yeah...and my hard arse was wathching Grease 2 last night. I want a C-O-O-L, R-I-D-E-R.........

Umm Dukes of Hazzard comes out today too. Best Buy, here I come!

well NICE, since you put it that way, I guess you're right about that....LOL :D

Suge, not Grease 2, huh? Another one of my favorites...I love all those songs in that movie. The Pink Ladies & the T-Birds or T-Bones, whatever their names were. :D

T-Birds....I love Grease 2. I actually like it more than Grease 1. Man since they are showing all these reruns on TV this week, I have to figure out what I'm watching tonight.

I'll save Fantastic 4, Dukes of Hazzard, and Mr&Mrs Smith till the weekend! Especially since there is no college football!

I didn't like the first Grease...it was nothing like the 2nd one.

"I'm going proooooowwwwwllin, walk, talk, walk like T-Bird."

Suge, actually I'm saving up on the movies man, there hasn't been too many fall movies, that I'm going to buy when they come out this winter, and with very little excitement, and plenty of in house time (because of the weather), there will be too many Saturdays, and Sundays for movie viewing.

Dukes Of Hazzard, along with the Honeymooners, and the Martin Lawrence movie about him going back to coach his old high school, will be on my 3 for $25 previously viewed Blockbuster list.

Fantastic 4, 40 Year Old Virgin, and Wedding Chasers are the next 3 on my must buy list.

NICE

My brothera nd sister said that 40 year old virgin was hilarious, and we always seem to lik eteh same type of comedy flicks.

I hear ya D. But right now I am a a movie buying fiend. All the shows coming out now are the ones that I missed while the wife was away.

We gotta buy the Dukes, just because we saw it being filmed while at your wedding.
40 year old Virgin comes out next Tuesday, along with the Island, Roll Bounce, and the Bad News Bears. I will have to get 40 YO Virgin and the Island. Roll Bouce sucked, I saw it on bootleg, and BNB can probably wait until 3 for 25......

That Rebound movie with Martin is hilarious. It worth the new relase buy

Okay I love Bad Black Movies, and sometimes it is hard to pass them up, even though I know I should. I was in wal mart this morning to pick up Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and saw a few BBM's!

But when the movie is titles "So Fresh and So Clean" I just had to get it. Plus I picked up Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, and Gas. I was gonna get Black Ski Trippin, but I couldn't remember if D-Nice said that one was worser than the others. BBM are hit or miss, mostly miss, but I am addicted! I just have to watch them.

Umm snoop has a movie out called Boss Up or something like that. But I have to wait until it gets down to at least 9.99, and even better when it hits 6.99!

Can't handle those, too much...

Black Ski Trippin, is on my all time worstest list. It can't get no worser than that. Gas ain't that bad, it had it's moments, but all in all, you can tolerate it. I'll be on the look out for So Fresh So Clean.

Hey man, I saw Da Block Party the other night, and I can see how you wouldn't like it, but you'd have to be from New Orleans to appreciate it. The movie was horrible, but I laughed my arse off.

In the barbershop scene, one of the barbers is a old highschool classmate, and football teammate of mine at Easton me.

NICE

I did laugh at Da Block Party..like the court scene with the Baby's Mama, the police, and the barbershop, but the plot.......umm there was no plot. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't as bad as some I have watched. It was just the lead actor was beyond bad, and Kane and Abel should never be in another movie in theor lives.

I also picked up my Big Phat Hip Hop Familily. I guess that is the black version of my big fat greek weeding.

Warnda, I don't know why I love these movies, but I buy and watch them all the time. Before DVD's they were always good to rent when there was nothing good at blockbuster. I'll be watching Mr & mrs smith at your suggestion!

I have seen some of them, too...but most of them are just NOT good movies. I hate to say it, but it's true. :emlaugh:

You'll like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, I'm sure. It's full of action and it's funny.

Review : Dukes of Hazzard was great. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. The casting of Bo and Luke was pretty good. Boss Hogg and Roscoe didn't exactly come off like their TV characters....but the movie was great.

So Fresh So Clean. Okay this BBm wasn't as bad as some. Actually Red Grant was hilarious in his role. He stole the movie. Plot...non existant, but it was worth the 6.99 I paid for it. The sad thing is that after watching the extras, the filmamkers were talking as if they had just made a master piece. That was hilarious. these people were acting as if they had just finished the clor purple instead of a BBM.

Still haven't watched Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Polar Express, and I will pick up the Island, and 40 y/o virgin tomorrow!

I watched Fantastic Four on Friday night, and though I didn't see it at the movies this summer, it was just OK for me. As with the Hulk, I thought they spent too much time on character development. I thought the chracters were cool, and their powers came off on the big screen as they do in the comics, but they could've given us a little more action. Great effects though, and Michael Chikilis was great as Thing.

I finally got a chance to watch Skeleton Key, and it was every bit of what I thought it would be. Reminiscent of Angel Heart with Lisa Bonet, without the devil.

I watched Mr. & Mrs. Smith this weekend as well, and it was cool as hell. Not the ending I was expecting, but I'm glad they did it the way they did.

Suge, I think I'm going to do Dukes Of Hazzard on 3 for $25. Even though I saw that dayum General Lee all over New Orleans during my wedding week, seeing Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg, has me a little leary. Especially seeing that I watch the show everynight on CMT.

NICE

That's what that movie was, huh? I knew the Skeleton Key reminded me of some other movie. :rolly:

Well, I finally saw Roll Bounce, and needless to say, I enjoyed the movie, despite a poorly told good story. That poor told story, was the difference in this movie being good, instead of great, and after looking at some of the deleted scene's, especially the 2 with the father looking for a job, and being blown off somewhat by the white guy, and then ultimately getting it, was huge, and I don't know what the director's were thinking about leaving out that sequence of events.

Secondly, though the clothes, the music, hair (as bad as it was), and the overall feel for the movie was 70's, the dialect wasn't, which is another reason why this movie was just good, and not great.

All in all the movie is worth seeing, and having if you ever spent a day a the roller rink, dayum it bought back some memories. Also, they hyped Nick Cannon up like he was a major player in the movie, when they should've been hyping X's best friend Junior, or the Sweetness kid, or even that fine little red thing he had on his team lol, because Nick was in the movie for maybe all of 10 minutes, and had more deleted scenes, than actual movie scenes.

40 Year Old Virgin, was just OK for me, too dayum long, and I see why they trimmed those extra 17 minutes off of the final cut, because they didn't add anything special to the movie, and why was this unrated? It wasn't like anything in this movie would've made it stronger than a R rating.

NICE

Finally saw Usual Suspects this weekend and it was a great movie.
I thought I had it figured out a couple of times but it kept flipping on me.

When I saw "Kobayashi" on the cup I knew who Kaiser Sose' was. GREAT MOVIE. Glad I bought it. I recommend it to anyone that likes Murder Mysteries.

You are just seeing the Usual Suspects? Dayum Sonny, I may have to check your manhood. Man this movie is a classic. It ranks up there with Gladiator, Godfather, Goodfellas, etc. as movies you must watch as a man.

D-Nice - You like Roll Bounce??!?!? Man that movie was horrible. Writing, acting, plot...it all sucked! And seeing the filming of the dukes all weekend of your wedding is what made me really want to see the movie.

Okay I have a list of movies to watch, but I am out of school all next week, and this X-mas weekend the wife and I are not going to leave the house all weekend, so I didn't watch any this week. 40 Y/O virgin. Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Polar Express, The Island, plus whatever is coming out this week.....I haven't checked. But it must not be anything major.

I did watch My Big Phat Hip Hop Family......umm well it was watchable, but again not great. I'll give it 2 out of 5 stars. It did have some decent acting. I still have to watch Roscoe's chicken and waffles..and I bought the snoop movie too, Boss'n Up, I think is the name.

Hey man, just because y'all didn't have roller skate's, and roller rinks in Ouachita Parish, don't hate me for having a hint of nostalgia. As I said fat boy, it was a good story, that was told badly, nevertheless, it was entertaining. I'm not going to nominate for a black Oscar, or anything, but if you can stomach Breakin, My Big Phat Hip Hop Family, Da Block Party, both Black Spring Break's, and Hey Beyotch! The Grits Are Cold, then surely you can stomach Roll Bounce. lol

Oh, for you guys who don't understand myself, and Suge's relationship, the Hey Beyotch! The Grits Are Cold, is not a movie, but something we do to get a laugh from the other. So don't look at that, and say, "is that really a movie?"

NICE

Four Brothers comes out tomorrow.... Can't wait to pick up my copy. Also, I believe The Gospel and Hustle & Flow will be released this month.

Suge, I never knew about the movie except for the name. I never paid any attention to it untill I kept hearing the name "Kaiser Sose'" in like 4 different rap songs by 4 different rappers on my Ipod. So I did a Google search on the name and the movie Usual Suspects came up. I started reading about it and I just purchased it on Thrusday from Target.

I watched the movie last night and it was excellent. Kaiser was the MAN, he had his hands in everything. One of my top 10 movies of all time. I couldnt beleive who he was. It really shocked me.
