BCS Championship

Excuse me I meant additional motivation. National title (check), Not winning a 2nd heisman (check), conference bragging rights (check), 63rd ranked pass defensive back making dumb comment (checkmate).

Tim Tebow can't be thinking about what some cats on the Sooners defense said, or not winning the Heisman (that he did not deserve to win) or winning the BCS title game for the SEC. You think the Georgia Bulldogs or the Alabama Elephants are hoping the Gators win the title? Those teams hate Florida.

Tebow might really want to prove something to Oklahoma, but he should be worried about trying win the game for Florida (and Jesus) and not for other reasons.

I really believe that Bradford didn't deserve it either. I said it before and I'll say it again. If Tebow played in the Big 12 he's throw for 4,000 yds and 50 tds every year. The Big 12 is a dream for a QB.

Of course winning the game for Florida is his main focus. In every interview he makes that fact known.

If Sam Bradford played in the SEC in the same offense Tim Tebow did, he would have better numbers as well.

Tebow had 3,200 yards passing and 32 TDs last season. His QB rating was 172 in 2007 and 176 this year playing in the SEC. Tebow has thrown 65 TDs and 9 INTs at Florida and the man is only half the passer Bradford is.

Bradford has thrown 84 TDs and 15 career INTs. Urban Meyer would love to have that guy on his team.

Dude please. Bradford has ZERO athleticism, and please keep in mind that he throws the ball at least 40 times a game when Tebow throws the ball at the most 15-20 times a game. So those stats you posted are laughable given the FACTS. In 3 seasons of college football Tebow has only thrown 9 INT's total. How you like them apples?

If Tebow has thrown nine picks playing in the SEC in the spread offense, why would you not think Bradford could do the same thing and he is a much polished passer.

If Tebow has to throw the ball 30 to 40 times Thursday, Florida will not win. Bradford might not be as athletic (there is no such thing as an athlete not being athletic, especially a cat who won the Heisman) as Tebow, but the man can pick a defense apart if he has time.

According to who? What facts do have to prove that Bradford is a more polished passer? Last year in Tebow's first year as the starter which was also Bradford's first year as a starter Tebow put up better numbers and actually threw the ball more times than Bradford in a better DEFENSIVE conference. Not to mention that Tebow ran for almost 1000 yds in addition to that.

The only reason Tebow hasn't put up numbers as good as or better than last year is because they have more weapons on offense.

If Bradford passes the ball 40 times on Thurs he will get exposed.

This is a tough one. You have Tim Tebow, a guy who ministers to inmates, travels abroad to underdeveloped countries and puts smiles on kids faces with messages of hope. Then he assists in performing surgeries on ill kids. He fires up his teammates by screaming at everyone including the water girls.

Plus, his girl has really big boobs.

Then you have Sam Bradford. A man who is part Native-American, always wanted to play for the Sooners. He has won the Heisman, broke all kind of passing records and that procativ has done wonders for his skin. Jessica Simpson would be proud.

I need help.

wow... lol

I hope OU wins, I despise UF

If he throws it 40 times it will probably mean he didn't get much pressure from Florida. He is used to throwing it 30-40+ times a game so they won't be out of their game if he does that.

Keep in mind that he's throwing the ball 40 times a game vs some of the worst defenses. Chase Daniel looked almost as bad as LSU's QB in the game against Northwestern. I'll say it again, The frontrunner for the heisman at the beginning of the season "Chase Daniel a.k.a. overrated big 12 QB" threw for only 200 yds and 3 int's vs Northwestern. Ol Miss put up 515 yds on Texas Tech. Come on man

The Sooners don't have Demarco Murry tomorrow so they have no choice other than to throw the ball 40-50 times.

He won't have time and by the 3rd quarter he will be visiably affected by the Florida pass rush (under/over throwing receivers). I think this will fit that classic Mike Tyson quote "Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth.". I could be wrong, but I don't think OU's offense will hold up under the coming firestorm that is the Florida defense. Prediction Florida by 17.

I am going to use JRock's normal analysis.

Oklahoma has a few La kids that play alot and they them Texas boys......Florida's speed will not be a factor. Oklahoma is just as fast.

So I think OU will get the win. Should be a good game. Stoops gets the monkey off his back and leaves it on my man Tressels back.

Watch for that OU TE Gresham to have a good game. The SEC don't use their TEs. He may cause problems for Florida's secondary. Also Harvin aint but 90% and said his ankle hurts when he cuts on it.

OU will miss Murray.........La kid Chris Brown will have to carry the load at RB.

Oklahoma is not just at fast JR. Sorry.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=254

12 Florida Gators have clocked below 4.4 40 times. OU better get some rocket packs jack. See link. OU's defense flat out sucks and they will NOT score 40-50 points Sat. Watch for Bob Stoops to try AGAIN some ridiculous trick plays that backfire as usual.

Ok............you can believe that nonsense if you want too. OU does have enough speed. If their OL can manhandle the smaller Florida DL then they will be fine. That is the only place were Florida has a speed advantage. The skill positions like DB, WR, RB are about even. Especially with Harvin not 100%.

Those 40 times are always overated. We see how it never translates into success in the NFL. Stoops needs to scheme out this game just like Saban did. Run, run, and then run some more. Florida aint expecting that. Especially with Murray out. No need for trick plays. Just line up and let their big boys smash the ball. That's why I hate the spread. This game will be won or lost in the trenches. If Florida does not sack Bradford.......it will be a long day. We will see if Stoops has called for quick passes. Also he needs to run the hurry up to perfection and keep them on their heels. This game is all on Bob and his staff. But he has the horses to keep up with UF.

Why is it non-sense JR? Or is it that you just don't like Florida and don't wanna believe? So you're telling me they're reporting lies? Even if they're reporting slightly altered numbers.....that's still a lot to be that fast when it comes to team speed.

I mean seriously....we keep hearing for the last 4 years....that OU has tremendous speed....which ultimately turns out to be....nonsense and they end up not having as much speed as the opposing teams(LSU, USC, WV....NOT Boise State). Case and point.....remember with Jason White, they were considered possibly the best college offense to play the game? And TWO years in a row, they scored 14 and 17 points.....against LSU and USC......when all season they boasted about powerful offense and putting up 40, 50 points a game. I'm not as impressed with this offense as I was with Jason White. A lot of late quarter, garbage time, run up the score touchdowns. Stoops throwing the ball with 2mins left in the game when already up by 50 points. Complete B.S.

Why are their 40 times over-rated? JR, their skill positions are NOT even......why are their DBs ranked 98the nation if they're even? once their front four get tired of chasing faster linemen, you'll see where the difference is.

I'm not saying OU is slow...I'm saying they don't have as much team speed overall as Florida. OU has NO defense JR......ranked 63rd(I was wrong about 65th). Look at the points they give up. They gave up an avg of 30 points a game. The lowest they gave up was 17 to Baylor. And you think they can keep up with Florida?! If Florida doesn't turn it over constantly....or make dumb mistakes....OU's defense will not be able to hang. As for OU's offense....I think they're good but it's hard to judge when they've play against a conference where NO team in that conference even ranks in the top 50. Now that's a fact. And Percy Harvin at 90% is just fine.

I think their defense sucks because of the schemes they run. Like I said. This game will come down to the trenches and the coaching that goes on. Florida has not seen an offense like this all year either. So it will be a battle of wills. Like I said.....if Bradford has any time......OU will score early and often. Then OU defense will be able to bend and not break. No one is hyping up OU. No I don't like Florida, never have liked them going back to the Galen Hall days and even before that.........I like Urban Meyer somewhat and think he can flat out coach. But you know JR don't care about either school so it makes no difference to me who wins.

I just watched how Bama and Ole Miss played them. Stoops needs to cross them up by trying to run the ball and not let the Florida DL try to pin their ears back and pass rush all day. Folks keep acting like Florida DBs are all world. Watch OU's TE have a big game. He is animal. He is big WR playing TE. LOL. Florida puts a LB on him and they will get ate up. A Safety will be too small. All Stoops needs to do is smash for a little while. Get that undersized Florida D tired and then attack in the air. That would be my game plan. Florida fully expects OU to come out passing every down.

JR Oklahoma Db's are suspect man. They giving up more yards after the catch than 97 other FBS schools. They are garbage man. they gave up 41 points to OSU LOL. they are garbage and you know it. Having some decent players at certain postions does not acount for Flordia having speed at every position.

I'm not fighting this battle. If the Florida that showed up most of this season shows up. OU is in trouble.

I also heard this in the last 4 Bowl Games also.....and it didn't pan out. So they have a lot to prove that they are ACTUALLY for real this year.

Yeah but smash with who? I know they have Brown....who's the other
back-up? Defense wins championships.....maybe that's why OU isn't gettin' hyped up by people as much as Florida...but believe me....they're getting hyped up when it comes to their offense. OU's Tight End is not fast and won't be as big of a factor as you hope. I don't think OU will succesfully run the ball either......not as much as they hope to do.

Exactly.....if they don't make bonehead mistakes and turnovers......OU's defense won't hang and OU won't score 40-50 points.

I think that Oklahoma has the better passer in Bradford and offense but think that Florida has the better defense. Therefore, I am picking the Gators though I have been going back and forth on this game. I think that it was the Florida defense that won the SEC championship game.

Gators by 20. Oklahoma is going to get exposed as frauds. They havent seen a D Like UF, plus Florida has 3 Guys on offense faster than anyone OU has seen since Usain won the 200m. Harvin, Demps & Rainey.

Game should have been USC vs UF.
