Attendance WKE 11/24/12

Both teams had better records last year and only drew 40,715.

All things considered, with both teams worse off from a year ago, 45,980 is a plus.

True and the Bayou Classic was the 2nd largest HBCU Classic in America this year. What is also missing in the equation is it appears that all classics have a declining trend this year. If both schools records are a component of attendance (which I believe it is), the Bayou Classic attendance will rise when a better product (winning product) is put on the field by both programs.

So Bethune only drew 5,000? I wonder if they even broke even.
Seems like their own fans don't care about attending a playoff game. Perhaps it's more overrated like some have been saying.
Look at the other playoff games. Those numbers are dreadful.

On the other hand, Bama State's game drew more than all the playoff games combined. The BC drew three times as many as all the games combined. Those numbers speak volumes about what many folks think about the FCS playoff system.

I am guessing that the 2nd round of the playoffs will have better numbers but really the playoff attendance numbers have never been impressive. Below is the link to the FCS playoff bracket:

Weather was the cause in decline for the MCC... that was the first cold weekend of the year.... it was 80 the next weekend..... but MCC Saturday it was 40-50. That was the coldest Saturday in this area to date this year.

Anger and hostility!!!!

Plus, who said anything about percentage capacity in this thread? This thread is about 2012 SWAC Average Home Attendance. I don't know how some dumb azz sees percentage rate in this thread, unless they calculated the numbers themselves. Seems like hate, anger, and hostility got some folks really confused  or they are just plain dumb as hell. Personally I think it is a combination of everything (hate, anger, hostility, and dumbness). :emlaugh:
