Did I say JSU was doing something special. :noidea: I merely pointed out that while Southern is a big draw, JSU is always near the top in attendance. 20,000 more fans x $25 a ticket is $500,000, plus other revenue associated with home games. That's more than half of Mississippi Valley State's football budget. And we do average what SU averages.

Besides JSU, The only other SWAC school that is worthy of speaking attendance figures with is SU. Remember GRAM used us as an ATTENDANCE Booster this year :tup: They needed the Mighty JSU to travel over to the woods to help boost their economy.
Since it wasn't a conference game,I guess we could have called it the "Big Bail Out Classic" :lol:

And Grambling has never adverage 20000. And your football budget and entire athlectic budget is a few mil short of JSU. Get over yourself dude. JSU is a major HBCU and football school. You are just a football school.

On the real! JSU's band is known more than their sports or the actual University itself! Your'e right JSU is probably known in the HBCU world and that is it! SU and Grambling are known in the HBCU world and outside it and more for just the bands! SU and GSU are known all over the nation and over seas, i guarantee JSU isn't heard of like that so how in the world is shawiggi calling GSU minor and JSU isn't known outside the HBCU community? I'm not saying this just to be mean, i'm basing off facts! You can't go to Cali nor New York and go to a store to buy something that says JSU on it but you can get SU and Grambling gear! Now that's major! GSU will always get more respect than JSU period! Like or not it's true!

Dude.SMH Whatever man. You guys always try to discredit JSU to make you look better. Yet 8600 students from all over the country attend JSU and only about 3900 attend gram. JSU is ranked ahead of Gram and SU in Black Enterprise ,US news and most publications. JSU has secured more grants than any HBCU in the SWAC. Sad but how does the president elect select JSU as a spot to hold his rally in Mississippi and no one knows about JSU.

I nor has anybody discredited Gram or SU but you guys always try to say JSU is not known. It's shameful.

Right now Su is known all over the country for Brutal Hazing. So he does have a point Shaw. :lecture:
and CLEARLY they are known all over the country to all the wrong people b/c they're STILL ranked below JSU. They have the Bayou Classic, which is a GREAT recruiting Tool but they're still not attracting better students than JSU. Oh wait, maybe its just that JSU have Quality Teachers? Or maybe its BOTH..... hmmm, Thats something to think about.

(Sorry SU) Imagine a wall of fans versus a decent number of supporters. If the team with the decent amount wins.........u get to watch the wall slowly (or quickly depending on team effort) begin to fall, leaving the decent amount to celebrate. May outnumber GSU.......just better win THIS time around. New year.
