I’m kinda punch-drunk....

My Golden Lions lost to the Razornecks 45-3. They point-shaved....oops! I mean, they shaved minutes off the 3rd & 4th quarters to “prevent a blowout”.

Meanwhile, our divisional sister school just put up 59 on us, had their 4th string in, equipment managers play, and I think I saw some OoS folks suit up on us!

I’m like, really trippin’ here. I don’t want Texas Southern to beat us in football AND !

Another good recruiting season TSU football is going to be a problem

And from what I understand we are playing with 58 freshman but we know that doesn't mean a thing with the transfer portal situation for every school.

While I’m glad they did well this past Spring, I was against them playing. I was hoping they (UAPB) would cancel Spring and focus on health measures and athletic performance improvements for this Fall

I honestly don’t know what happened, but I do know that Coach Gamble doesn’t allow his coaches to do their job. We’ve been without our OC since the Alcorn game b/c he and Coach Gamble “got into it”. It was so bad (from my understanding) that our OC took some medical leave; I think he returned for this past TXSU game.

But it’s my opinion that our team has quit on Coach Gamble. I think they’re just “going through the motions” of the game, trying to get to the end of the season.

Thanks for your honest heartfelt opinion. I thought UAPB was on the up and would sustain the momentum to challenge in the West on a yearly basis. I know the Alcorn loss was a "stumbling" block but please don't let it be a "roadblock". Next year is crucial for Gamble and his future with the Lions...........best wishes to the team and the fanbase.
