Arkansas-Pine Bluff vs Grambling State: Game Updates - 2:00pm CT





Well, now we know why Grambling went for 70. Willie Young, UAPB's WR, was talking trash on Twitter earlier in the week saying that Grambling was "overrated".

GRAMBLING — The Grambling football program is at a point where it doesn't need extra motivation. The Tigers are capable of generating it on their own.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff decided to pour gasoline on the fire anyway.

Grambling coach Broderick Fobbs revealed after Saturday's 70-0 trouncing of Pine Bluff that social media posts talking poorly about Grambling emerged prior to the Southwestern Athletic Conference tilt. Pine Bluff did the talking earlier in the week. Grambling let the scoreboard do all the talking Saturday.

I promise I'm good. I knew before the season started it would be bad for my team. We have a lot (and I mean a WHOLE lot) of stuff going on with football now & it looks as if we'll be in it for a while. It's frustrating & it hurts like h3ll but I just hope we can get through this & put the right people in place who can successfully get our football program back up to the competitive level.
 
Character is defined as " one of the attributes or features that make up and distinguish an individual". Honestly the AD and Head Coach should have resigned if not Saturday, the first thing Monday morning. It's truly sad that the powers to be have allowed this AD to destroy what little resemblance of a football program we had. Hampton is struggling to recover it's championship ways from his existence there, and poor MVSU is where it is and not that PB was a tradition rich winning program but we've been very competitive- not since his influence on the program. WHY IS HE STILL EMPLOYED? We can complain all we want we have at least one more year of this buffoonery.
 
Trust, we know exactly what you mean. We just went through some B.S. It'll be okay. Just remain loyal and patient.
