Kick was recovered by UAPB but an offsides penalty....kick #2.......Grambling recovers and the game is over. :jump:

Also going for it on 4th and 20 call in your own territory. MAN that was the dumbest call any coach can make.
 
I wouldn't call it dumb coaching. Remember GSU went for it on 4 & 11 and scored on a HB screen. You have to take chances. My promblem with UAPB coaching was #23 had 131 rushing in the 3rd quarter and they stop feeding him the ball. He only got the ball the last play of UAPB's last drive and that was for a TD.

UAPB coaches did an excellent job of trying to slow down Bruece by making him thrown underneath coverage ALL GAME. The only big plays were made on missed tackles from short passes.

Good game GSU and you should represent the West well in the SCG.

Dem Arkansas boys played dey azz off Sahrah! Yall did a good job of keeping us away from hitting on the long ball. If yall keep pounding those two running backs the rest of the season, somebody's defense is in trouble.

I wish I had stayed for the 5thQ, then I could met some Gram peeps from the SWACPAGE.

The future look bright for this young UAPB team though.
 
The only HUGE mistake that Coach Forte made was not running the ball when we got it back with 3 minutes and change left and only down by a field goal. We still had all our timeouts. The clock stops on first downs. We had PLENTY OF TIME. Mickey Dean was having an excellent game. Why put the game in the QB's hands when he's not a great passer? That's the only decision I would question. Going for it on 4th and 20 was not a bad idea because if we had punted, we may not have gotten the ball back.
