I love the winter time. Spent Christmas 2001 in Detroit and I was in heaven!!

Mrs. Jax is hot natured. Prefers the summer time and being in Miami and Hawaii for Winter, "L" Spring, Summer, Fall...whenever. She and the cold do not get along.

I saw that! WHen I get married, L, I ain't LETTING her wear more than thongs and bras in the house.
 
Not an old man at all.
My wife and I talked about this issue from a discussion in our pre-marital class. The minister who conducted the class said that people considering marriage have unspoken expectations that they assume will get worked out once the "I Do" part is said. Then when reality shows up somebody is going to have unmet expectations. So we were encouraged to bring up as many expectations as we could think and lay them out. For example....who's cooking and on what days ? what time is dinner ? whose family to visit on holidays ? toilet tissue over/under ? laundry ? who's the bill writer ? how soon on the next car purchase ? sex ? how often ? shower in morning or at night before bed ? sweat pants/shirt and socks to bed or pj's or nightshirt or boxers or briefs or in the raw. Not all of the above are mine, but they were some folks expectations. So my expectation on sleeping attire is I don't like flannel and sweat suit/work out gear to be worn to sleep. She agreed. Every now and then she'll try to make like she just fell asleep with it on. :lol:

As for me and my wife, we are opposites in just about everything. When she is hot, I am cold. When I am hot, she is cold. But it works out for us. I got her a fan to clip to the headboard on her side of the bed and it does not bother me at all. .... 18 years strong and counting.

I'm verrrrrrrry cold natured. I never run the AC at home unless I have visitors. In the winter time, I like the heat alllllllll the way up on 90 degrees. I sleep under two comforters. Love it.

My Da says a man will never put up with that. :(

:topic: Big Thunder-Have your wife to be careful with sleeping with that fan blowing on her. My mother had a fan blowing next to her after she had her hysterectomy (Early 30's) and she has suffered with pain on that side of her body for over 10 years and counting. She has been to numerous doctors and has had many diagnosis(disc buldging, arthritis, etc..) She is having surgery this month on that side of her body. The pain started after she starting having that fan blow on her constantly for years.

Thank you much for the info on not letting the fan blow on her while she sleeps. She actually already complains of "pain in her side" frequently. I am going to share your information with her and have her to share that with her doctor.

I don't really care if the temp is high or low. If it is too much to either extreme, I get sleepy. I was told I keep my house too warm. *summer time thermostat set @ 78* I have been told in the winter I keep it too cold *thermostat set at 72 when I am home, and 68 when I will be away more than a few hrs*.

I usually wear the bare minimum in the summer chilling at the house. I wear sweats and long sleeve tees in the winter.
