I still agree with my stance.......

Your stance? :lmao:

It wasn't your stance that you were arguing. YOU were NOT arguing right vs wrong. YOU were arguing that the NCAA ban included the SCG. You were wrong then and if you still stick by that interpretation, you are wrong now.

Nope.. we ARE judging! SUx is OUT! but we are sure they are gonna let ya'll in. PV gonna whoop ya'll anyway so it won't really matter. Two teams with dumb athletes will be battling to go to Houston.. smh

I got in infraction for using "SUx" but no infraction for calling your teams dumb. Is that logical or what? :lmao:

su should've volunteered to vacate it's title and forfeit the entire season. That would've been the right thing to do and that could've been your way of showing the NCAA that you mean business about this APR.
But noooo. Broussard didn't want to get out front and volunteer to do that. He wasn't proactive enough to levy his own sanctions like other schools do.
Had he levied his own sanctions, the NCAA probably wouldn't be contemplating sanctions at all right now.

For what? The NCAA knew back in 2011 that they were not satisfied and they knew damn well LaFluer and SU didn't have their paperwork right to satisfy them. To me that was BS and they should have levied whatever they were going to do back then.

You can't blame Broussard for trying to appease the NCAA. You don't throw yourself under the bus until you have exhausted all efforts. Hell even Ohio State didn't do that until it got crucial and then Tressel to the fall for the school. Neither did Miami in which the NCAA fugged up their investigation. You just want that SCG title so bad it hurts. LOL. The NCAA didn't need to see that to know you mean business about APR. Man the NCAA about to be extinct. I can't wait until the BIG conferences fry their arses soon. They are dumb as they come in Indy. NO RESPECT AT ALL FOR THEIR LEADERSHIP.

Many schools have levied sanctions against their own program to appease the NCAA and it usually softened the penalties.
Sometimes the children have to pay for the sins of their predecessors.
Isn't that how it usually works with the NCAA. Ask USC, Reggie Bush and others like him.

I guess you are right about that. jSU program is in good hands.

th
th

Simple question:

-How JSU APR and compliance issues in compared to SU?
-And what Harold Jackson record in the SWAC as a head coach?

This troll like behavior :retard:

The NCAA was wrong on Reggie Bush and USC too. They know it now. That's why Mark Emmert is barely holding on to his job. Those major schools are wondering WHO's next with some dumb sanctions that go OVERBOARD after the fact. I can see if it is about a current player or players. And the punishment needs to fit the violation. Their judgement day is coming soon. We can't do nothing to them. But them major programs about to seem them a message when they break away so they can pay players and do what they want.

If SU has to vacate its title to jSU and I was Coach Comegy, I'll sue jSU for my bonus for winning the SWAC title and firing me under false pretense.

Technically we didn't fire him for losing....I mean we did, but "recruiting locally" was a major problem, not sure how suing will fit in the picture.

Vacated titles = no winner that year.

Not exactly. A team could be made to give their title to another team if they were caught cheating the year they won the title. They do it all the time in the Olympics with the gold medal, I'm just not sure if it ever been done in football.

No problem but NCAA violators shouldn't be rewarded either.

LMAO. Again the NCAA had not rendered any decision yet. SU was eligible during the Fall. The NCAA will tell you the same. Stop trying to make SU give up the SCG just because YOU want us too.

Nah. They vacate in NCAA football and basketball.

Doesn't happen in college football. Bama State didn't get it from TSU... Oklahoma didn't get it from USC.

The Olympics are different.

all that gloating and smacking for no reason.... the (2013 * champs)

* NCAA Violators who submitted papers with bogus info

:lol: Broussard tried to sneak faulty information by the NCAA but he got caught. Sounds like that would classify as cheating?

You got beat by eligible players who have NO APR issues. You didn't get beat by Pete's team in December. So no *.

Comegy wasn't fired. His contract wasn't renewed.

Comegy had 1 year left on his contract. jSU decided to use the buyout clause of $50k to get rid of him. Like I said, if I was Comegy, I would sue jSU for my last year under contract, which is worth approximately $200k plus any bonuses associated with winning the SWAC title.

None of our current players or coaches were around... they whipped yall asses legitimately.

Yep. LOL. Some of the players had already graduated that were on the field in December. Some just graduated this Spring.

Dude, what are you talking about?

Comegy, whose contract was not renewed by JSU in December following a loss to Southern in the SWAC Football Championship game, would replace former Delta Devils coach Karl Morgan, who compiled an 8-35 record in Itta Bena over four seasons.....
