Apple teams up with HBCUs across the country, including Southern University-Shreveport, Prairie View University, Dillard University, and Tougaloo College, among others, to bring coding, creativity and workforce development to communities of color. In addition to the first 10 hbcus announced, Apple intends to extend its program to all 100 plus hbcus through its Community Education Initiative in an effort to expand the number of persons of color in the STEM workforce.
