Seriously, please get your QB an OL before he gets KILLED!!! I don't know if he pissed someone off in the huddle or not, but NO ONE was picking up those blitzes!!! The poor guy almost got his head knocked off on more than one occasion.

PV has gotten a lot better. They scored 6 points and got past the 50 more than 3 times. Maybe next year, you can score a field goal also.

A message to GSU: Please, get yourself a <b>REAL</b> QB and a <b>REAL</b> defense!!!!! LOL That boy from hitchcock ain't no real QB. We were successfully able to move the ball quite easily on GSU in the first half w/ MUCHO consistency (hint: rest of the SWAC). We stayed in GSU territory more than they stayed in our territory, i.e. Handy Rhymes was <b>BENCHED</b> for several minutes (almost the entire first half) because of poor/subpar/inadequate/bad/... QB play caused by the Panther defense. #10 was the one who helped to score points. Also, your run game is overly suspect. :D

Pressure has a way of bursting things, it amazed me how our players continued the 14 year tradition of helping GSU score. It's almost like playing 17 guys vs 5 guys @ any pt in time on the field. As soon as they stop that, it'll be a more competitive game. That 40 pts? Well.... LOL Handy Rhymes was playing in the 4th quarter wasn't he? LOL

Don't believe the hype, GSU ain't that strong.

This is football, HBCU football! It is not Olympic boxing, professional figure skating, nor the Miss America pageant. The winner is not decided by how many style points they accumulate. It is not guaged by degree of difficulty. It is based upon who scores the most points. So we didn't impress you...bid deal. You still lose.

You're Pathetic View...how can a team get fired up to play against you. Man, a double dosage of Viagra couldn't get someone up for PV! We could have scored if we desired...we chose to work on basic plays and formations. No need to exert any extra effort...you're never competitive anyway!

You don't understand...we are not competing against the opposition. We are in pursuit of excellence. Other teams can concentrate on just winning. Being the ICON, we must continously seek to perform and achieve more than the regular school/football program. But going back to my initial theme, you don't understand...you've never been an ICON!
 
PANTHRO IS FULL OF IT.I WAS AT THE GAME.RANDY WAS RUSHING AND DOUG WANTED TO COOL HIM DOWN.WHEN HE CAME BACK IN THE GAME THE SCORE JUMPED UP.IT'S HARD TO GET UP FOR A GAME AGAINST PV.THEY ARE FOR GSU FOR THE OBVIOUS REASONS.HYMES STILL IS ONE OF THE BEST QB IN THE SWAC EVIDENCE BY GRAM RECORD.PINE BLUFF BETTER NOT BELIEVE PANTHRO.THIS TEAM IS AWESOME AND READY.OCT 20 WILL BE A GOOD GAME.DOUG COULD HAVE SCORED MORE IF HE HAD LEFT HYMES IN AND OTHER STARTERS.HE WAS TOO BEING A "PROFESSIONAL" AS PV COACH STATED IN THE PAPER.
 
Don't look for Doug Williams to ever run up the score on someone like Prairie View. Look at some of the scores this weekend against out of league competition. Did you see the Valley score?How about Alcorn getting beaten by Fort Valley by 15 (again)? What about the other scores in previous weeks where we got beat by out of conference? Combine that with SU's debacle in the dome and our credibility looks shaky.

We would do our conference greater injustice beating up on a hapless program like Prairie View. We don't put the ball up 58 times a game trying to run up points on inferior talent. We simply run our balance attack...collect our impressive and dominating win, and stay [size=3.5]THE BEST D1AA TEAM IN THE NATION[/size]

Let's see...Randy Hymes threw for 268 yards. That's more than the three of your quarterbacks you played combined. You all had 4 rushers in negative yards in rushing on Saturday. Brad Hill rushed for over 100 yards again. So let's see....your offense sucks. Your defense sucks. We scored 20 points in less than 3 minutes. Panthro, you really don't have the right to say ish about GSU. You need to continue making those pathetic excuses as to why PV sucks, and will always suck. I suggest that PV thinks long and hard about fielding a football team next year. It's a disgrace to the swac.

And your band....MAN, we ain't even gonna talk about that ish on the field Saturday night.

We expected to play a good half truth be told. We don't have depth and it was evidenced in the 3rd qrtr frwd. Last year, GSU played their 2nd string skill position players the entire game w/ the same 1st team offensive/defensive lines. This year, that #88 (forgot ol' boys name) was running down the field @ the start of the 4th qrtr w/ a pass thrown to him by that #17 (handy rhymes). Please, tell me that I'm wrong. Alter the game tape and tell me that I'm wrong.

For us to be such a "push-over" team, GSU certainly had those 1st stringers in during the first 3-5 mins of the 4th qrtr, didn't they? Did not handy rhymes get benched for a <b>majority</b> of the first half?

The defense rests it's case your honor. Y'all are guilty of having a fraudelent overrated football team.

I will not dishonor my calories by using them to talk about that trash band of yours. :emlaugh:
