Well, here we are just two days from our 99th birthday!!
Now is the time when we reflect on all that Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has stood for, and the contributions we've made to the nation, and to the world for practically a century. On Sunday December 4, Alpha chapters all over the world will pay homage to those seven stalwart young men fondly called "The Jewels," who blazed the trail, setting the example for over 150,000 men who've followed in their footsteps!
We salute you...Henry Arthur Callis, Charles Henry Chapman, Eugene Kinckle Jones, George Biddle Kelley, Nathaniel Allison Murray, Robert Harold Ogle and Vertner Woodson Tandy. May your spirit and legacy continue to shine as the "light of the world" for another 100 years!
