I'm thinking about getting a ball python myself, but my sisters say they won't visit me anymore if I get it. :(

I really want a Chow, but I don't want to clean up after it and deal with all that hair. Snakes are much cleaner and easier to deal with.

I don't think blacks should have big snakes (like that) as pets. Why? Cause eventually we're gunna not do right. We're gunna start skimping on the upkeep. We'll stop cleaning the cage, and will eventually stop buying rats and rodents for it to eat. We'll start feeding it table scraps (like we do dogs). I just don't see a healthy 22-foot python surviving long on a diet of ramen noodles, smoke sausages, and hot wing bones.... The $19.99 '5-meat' pack from Piggly Wiggly is NOT gunna feed that thang....

I have rabbits and squirrels in the backyard.

Might be interesting to see what he can do with that.

Neighborhood dogs and cats that wander through my yard might become scarce too.
