Don't count on it.

People here are already saying they gonna flood the place and tear it up. They don't care if they have to sit on the grass hill with Alcorns 3-legged stadium dog mascot, they will be going down.

Tear it up.. That's cause y'all ain't used to shyte... But, it'll be dealt with I'm sure.

Bruh, ya'll can't even handle Homecoming when your "visitor" side is empty. I had a co-worker drive all the way from Philly for graduation at Alcorn this year.. he still complaining. If ya'll can't handle 10-15K people, how you gonna handle 30-40K. You will probably have 10K on the yard on Friday night.

Let him complain...others had no problem...again, Alcorn will handle theirs. Your a team..they could care less about y'all accomodations.

You should not care about our accomodations but Alcorn is not like Southern. Southern reserves their whole dayum stadium so that takes away from the atmosphere. It breaks the JSU crowd up. Alcorn, on the other hand WILL accomodate us. Your stadium is get in where you fit in. So we just gonna come and take over.

We do just like everybody else does. LOL. You think LSU going to give a big allotment to Alabama fans when they come to Tiger stadium? They will give them 5-10 thousand seats in that big arse stadium. LOL. It is supply and demand. If JSU felt like it could sell 45 thousand tickets just to JSU fans for the SU game in Jackson. Then you would only give us the remaining 10-15K tickets either. Obviously it is easier for SU to do that because our stadium size is not 40K and we have enough of a home fan base to reserve our stadium for those type of games. It is different when your home fans don't show up when you win or lose. Lucky for most SU opponents is that we have been down for awhile and it has been easier to get tickets outside of the JSU game or Homecoming. Winning cures all.

Man, on the real.. being mingled in with ya'll sucks. But it's all good.

LOL@JR giving Alcorn a subtle unintentional backhand slap.:emlaugh:

Oh, one more thing. You are still down as long as you have Stump.

Come on JR, we have ticketmaster too. We don't need yall's 2,000 measely tickets.:emlaugh:

Inspite of that, I see you didn't deny that other than SU's homecoming game, the JSU game is your highest attended game every other year we show up on the schedule. Why is that?

That is because SU and JSU are rivals!!!! Of course our fans are going to show up even with our team being down in the dumps right now for the heated rivalry game. There were 3,000 JSU fans in Mumford at the most vs. 21,000 SU fans, so don't try and act like JSU came anywhere near taking over the stadium. Ya'll sat in that little corner next to the J-Settes and had a few sprinkles spread out on the East side of the stadium like every other SU-JSU game in Mumford. If all of the JSU people chose not to come to the game, we would still have 20,000+ at the game. Also, it is not hard for JSU to outdraw the other schools when you have those schools bringing only 100 fans with them.

Exactly. They make it seem like they took over Mumford. :lmao:

Nobody is worried about Jackson State JR.

I'm going back to BR because I'm a die-hard fan but that stadium is not "HBCU" visitor friendly. But if JSU had a stadium that size, I'm sure it would be the same way except I hope we don't have the WHOLE stadium reserved. If Mumford was get in where you fit in, that would be much better. Even FAMU is only reserved on both sides between the 40's.

Well, those 20K SU fans came to see JSU. :snicker:

...and then all 20K sat on their hands and gave your sorry team no fan support. I have never seen an SU crowd without an ounce of pride.

There's an 80-90 percent chance that there will be total gridlock at Alcorn come gameday between JSU and ASU. If anyone's going, they better get to campus by 10am or they can almost forget it.
Alcorn is just not equipped in any form or fashion to handle the numbers JSU is going to bring to that campus.

We don't care about the gridlock. We are use to it.
JSU doesn't travel with as many fans as SU. JSU will only travel big because it's Alcorn & they'll take 30-40% to Valley. Let's be real, SU is the only team in the conference that travels big whether they are winning or losing. They may take 20k. They just won't all go in the game. They bring 30k to Jackson. I've seen JSU in the 70s & 80s pack a stadium, but I've also seen today's jsu show up with 3k if they are losing. James Bell killing your attendance and you are still trying to get it back.

Keep thinking that. The biggest game in the history of your campus was JSU in 1992 and if you think this is going to be your normal gridlock, you are out of your minds. Also, JSU travels just as well if not better than SU. They don't travel anywhere better than us but Houston. You act like you travel on the road with JSU.

Dude, we forced james b*ll out. We have school pride. We don't stand still for mediocrity and we will make our displeasure known by withholding our dollars.
Unlike some schools, we don't sit on our hands when our team is losing and just accept it. That's how we was raised.

And as far as this traveling thing is concerned, believe what you want to believe. All I know is that over the last 10 out of 11 years, who has lead the SWAC in attendance? Don't bother, we already know.

:emlaugh:

It would be good though if Alcorn had some type of system where they could handle large crowds. I don't think their President thought this all out, but he'll wish he had come gameday.
