last year JSU went to SU and still had a top 5 finish in FCS for home attendance at 23,166 AVERAGE per home game.

Southern was way down at #23 with only 13,679 counting the fact that JSU traveled to SU in 2011 and taking in the fact they expanded Mumford. Alcorn was not even on the map. JSU home attendance has went up at least 3,000 every year since Comegy took over from BELLs low in 2006 of only around 8,000 per game:lol:

And JRock got the nerve to say we don't travel, yet every year JSU visits ole Mumfy, it's the highest attended game, other than their homecoming game.

And Alcorn needs JSU more than JSU needs Alcorn. They better hope like hell we don't outnumber them at their own place or there's REALLY gone be hell to pay on tspnsports fa sho.

Last year JSU went to SU and still had a top 5 finish in FCS for home attendance at 23,166 AVERAGE per home game. JSU has finished in the top 5 the last 4 years in FCS home attendance and have not dropped out of the top 10 since Comegy took over as Head Coach.

What lie? Maybe you should actually read my post. I think your 6 games from last year are listed below. And like I said if you take away Southern, Alcorn and homecoming your numbers are weak just like everybody else.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/schedule/_/id/2296/year/2011/jackson-state-tigers

Concodia ATTENDANCE: 4,911

Ala St ATTENDANCE: 16,286

TSU ATTENDANCE: 26,000 ($5 tickets and you still didn’t get 35K)

UAPB ATTENDANCE: 38,722 (I believe homecoming)

GSU ATTENDANCE: 21,576

ALCORN ATTENDANCE: NA

And since you are so proud of your stadium that you share with UMC/Ole Miss, people weren’t even allowed to tailgate for the TSU game because it interfered with the other tenants of the property.

I'm not the 1 on here acting like we carry the conference. I know we don't have a lot of fans. What I said was, if they don't want to come to Alcorn then stay at home. But we all know that's just talk because jsu fan will show up at Alcorn in November. Right now they just want to be the class clown.

LOL.. so now the standard is to get 35K?

Your stadium does not hold but 22K. :smh: The JSU-Alcorn "reported" attendance last year was 31,000+. SO basically, 4 out of our 6 home games would have sold your stadium out and our Alabama State game would have been jam packed too. That's only paid attendance. The were anywhere from 5 to 10K High School students there for high school day.

Yeah, our game vs Concordia was wack... but it probably had more than any other Alcorn game except for Homecoming.. lol

How many games has Alcorn hosted with over 20k in attendance over the past five years.

LOL.. when they host the Capital City Classic in Jackson. :smh:

Alcorn also acts like JSU don't have fans in Vicksburg, Port Gibson, Fayette, and Natchez... who also gonna help take over Spinks Stadium!

UMC/OLE Miss-- or whatever you were trying to imply, pays JSU $250,000 PER YEAR for their employees to park there every day EXCEPT GAME DAY. The places where tailgating is allowed azre not even affected by that section for employee parking even if they did park there on gameday..........WHICH THEY DONT. :smh:

So that is LIE #2 you have just posted.
Just stop before your forked tongue fall off............... :lmao:

Next.
What people fail to realize, there may be some inconveniences, but its home to us and we don’t give a d@mn whether somebody else is comfortable or not. If you don’t like it stay at home. As we all know, people love to hear themselves complain, but in the end, they are going to show up and enjoy all that green grass and open land that they don’t have at home.

And this attendance thing, if you take Southern off every bodies schedule then all the numbers will look bad. The only other big draws we all have (including Jackson st) is homecoming and your rival game. If you remove Alcorn and Southern from jackson’s schedule the only game they will come close to 35K is homecoming. Grambling coming to Jackson won’t reach that number most years.
:goof: :goof: :goof:

You said if people took SU off their schedules, everybodies numbers would look bad. Ours don't slide when one of you are not in Memorial. You also said if Alcorn was off, we would not hit 30,000 outside of homecomming. What do that have to do with anything. When it is ALCORNS home game in Memorial and all those BLUE AND WHITE clad fans are counted into Alcorns home attendance, you still don't have an average of 10,000 for the year. Alcorn is not even in the top 100. You played two games last year that didn't draw 800 fans combined. The 4,000 we got for Copncordia, THAT NOBODY WANTED TO SEE, was more than Alcorns total attendance for the entire year in Jack Spinks.

None. Southern and jsu will boost our numbers just like Southern and Alcorn (rival game) boost your numbers. Southern boost every bodies numbers when they come to town.

Now you know damn well it wasn't but maybe 3K JSU fans in Mumford. Remember all the complaining about tickets. You can do better than this JayRob. You know SU fans were the ones who showed up at our own stadium for that game. JSU had it's normal number it has always had when the game is in BR. Nothing more and nothing less. The way yall are talking like your own fans filled up Mumford and we had nobody there. LOL.

I don't know that until I see it written. I know the MS Legislature gave jsu stadium umc part of the grounds. The legislature is also waiting on jsu to get its own real stadium so umc can tear it down and expand. Gov Bryant has already said he wants that to be a part of an overall medical mall, complex or whatever (LIE OR TRUTH?). Jsu's own people in the legislature didn't want the stadium because they didn't know whether the school could afford to maintain it. So, for your so-called stadium, the State of Mississippi is trying to be patience and not kick you out. They are hoping you loosing (financially) 1st. We'll see what happens in 3 to 5 years.

The parking lease with UMC was part of the agreement so that UMC would continue to have parking for their employees and transport busses through the week and every weekend except Gameday. That is why JSU controls EVERYTHING INSIDE OF THE BLACK IRON FENCH SURROUNDING MEMORIAL. Everything outside the fence has been cleared up for UMC to develope.

In 3 to 5 years if that is the case, they can do what they want because if we are not in Memorial, that means the State have finally nutted up the money for a new JSU stadium. UMC can't do squat until the STATE sells them that land. UMC DO NOT OWN THE LAND MEMORIAL IS ON. And everybody in Jackson knows about that plan for the expansion. Everything about that plan has been public knowledge to anyone living in the jackson Metro for the last 10 years.

Memorial is right in the way of those plans. They have already bought the Farmers market and are about to start building a multi-million dollar Bio-Lab.

JSU CAN AFFORD TO WAIT THE STATE AND UMC OUT.

Come on JR, we have ticketmaster too. We don't need yall's 2,000 measely tickets.:emlaugh:

Inspite of that, I see you didn't deny that other than SU's homecoming game, the JSU game is your highest attended game every other year we show up on the schedule. Why is that?

There's an 80-90 percent chance that there will be total gridlock at Alcorn come gameday between JSU and ASU. If anyone's going, they better get to campus by 10am or they can almost forget it.
Alcorn is just not equipped in any form or fashion to handle the numbers JSU is going to bring to that campus.

And it should be the highest. It is the most bitter rival. Same for you guys. SU is one of your biggest attended games when it is in Jackson. Most of the time outpacing your homecoming game.

As for the ticketmaster comment. I will just LOL. Because you and I both know about the whining that went on here about us not sending JSU more than 1500 tickets. I said every year, go to ticketmaster. Folks were like we don't want to pay the fees. And again, SU fans were the ones that pushed our attendance numbers up for the JSU game in BR. Not your fans. I could understand if there were 10K JSU fans in Mumford or something. Now you know we at least bring that amount even on down years for SU to Jackson. And in the heyday, SU has brought 20 or more thousand to Jackson. Especially when both teams were the two best teams in the conference. We know why our attendance has dropped. Ticket prices and the product on the field will do that. But let's not act like SU is still not a big draw for other folks fans to show up to the game even if it is just to check out the Jukebox because for the longest time, the Juke was the only band that traveled to every game every year.

I don't know why it is such a big argument on here anyway. The bottom line is both fan bases like playing each other. JSU fans will show up more so for the SU game in Jackson than other games. Even when Bell was there. That was a highly attended game compared to the others. Same for when JSU comes to BR. Our fans rather see SU play JSU in Mumford than when Pine Bluff or PV comes to town. It is just the way it is. Everyone's attendance goes up for the other games when you are winning. If JSU was 1-5 and PV was coming to town. You would not get 26K to show up. No different than us being 1-5 with Valley coming to town and it's not homecoming. We all need to be real about attendance. Winning and WHO WE PLAY helps.
