Alcorn Athletic Director Press Conference

I like the way you used a bunch of arbitrary immeasurable to prove your point. Yes Broussard might be the nicest guy in the world, which is all you said, but HIS ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT IS BANNED IN THE NCAA....THE WHOLE DEPARTMENT.

I'm a salesman at my job. I haven't sold a thing in the past 2 years. But I have a comprehensive plan to make some sales, and my coworkers love me cause I tell the best jokes. Things weren't that great before I got here so you can't blame me for my lack of production. Every time I go my bosses office I tell him some story about why I'm not making any sales

The lady in the office next to me started at the same time. She had experience coming in and she used her prior knowledge to get grants for the business and her sales are through the roof. She's here everyday working her contacts and keeping her sales numbers way above average. The previous guy who had her job wasn't that great but she is not using his foul ups as an excuse. Her sales and business continues to flourish. She ain't as popular as me because she actually spends her time doing productive work.

But since the SWAC has poor academic schools and low academic standards JSU actually wasted it's time and money going out and finding someone to solve our APR issues. We should've done the same thing Alcorn and SU did, hire someone with a poor background knowing they're coming into the job with an unimpressive track record. Instead of wasting our money on education and Compliance we should be spending money on tennis shoes and weave like everybody else....maybe not

Really.. they should move Alcorn to Union Church. They would have the best girls bball and softball team in the nation if they did that. AND they could start a major in rodeo science. You will never find more black cowboys than in Union Church.

But as for the AD, what some people seem to forget is that FAMU is the third worst ran HBCU in the country right behind SU and Alabama State? FAMU has been poorly run for the last 10-15 years. How do you mess up athletics at FAMU? So I agree with the Alcornites who say let the guy do his job first. Norfolk State ran the QUEEN away because she was not inviting people to her house for functions and they didn't like who she was dating (that sounds so BAMA State'ish) but now she is HBCU President of the Year the best HBCU in the nation. So, give the guy a chance.

Usually when you lose a debate you say "YOU MAD."

Saying that someone with the worst athletic department is the best AD is flat out stupid...but you're entitled to your opinion

+1, they are going to hate you for using common sense though and I remember someone being put on blast on Jaguar Journal for being in Dr Broussard's facebook inbox yet talk about him bad on here.

Not enlightened on higher education athletics, I'm enlightened on common sense. You can't call someone great at something that they have failed miserably. In the future once he gets some on the job experience he can help SU, but right now SU is in trouble with the NCAA because they hired someone who didn't have a clue
