I just remembered that SU cheated in all sports for 6 year period. and it would’ve been longer but SU paperwork was so bad, they couldn’t get beyond 6 years. What illegal teams. What all know what the ncaa said about Texas Southern and their 20 plus years of cheating .

The N.C.A.A. said Texas Southern would vacate team records in all sports from the 2006-7 seasons through 2009-10, and scholarship limits and recruiting restrictions were placed on the football and men’s basketball teams. The university, which has 9,700 students, is considered a “double repeat offender” of N.C.A.A. rules, having been on probation or had violations on its Houston campus for 16 of the past 20 years, the N.C.A.A. said. This was the university’s third major infractions case.I just remembered that SU cheated in all sports for 6 year period. and it would’ve been longer but SU paperwork was so bad, they couldn’t get beyond 6 years.
Wasn’t no cheating, more of having a terrible AD. SU takes baseball serious. It’s a lot of our fans favorite sport.Hold on what’s this about cheating in baseball? I’ve never heard of this…how desperate do you have to be to cheat in damn baseball smh
So…still doesn’t negate the fact that Cador cheated as well, we just don’t know how long because they couldn’t go beyond 6 years. The N.C.A.A. said Texas Southern would vacate team records in all sports from the 2006-7 seasons through 2009-10, and scholarship limits and recruiting restrictions were placed on the football and men’s basketball teams. “The violations in the present matter once again included impermissible participation, academic improprieties and lack of institutional control,” the committee wrote.

I remember that 05, records were so bad the NCAA gave upSo…still doesn’t negate the fact that Cador cheated as well, we just don’t know how long because they couldn’t go beyond 6 years.
And we chose to vacate those records because the worst AD in SWAC history hired two off the most cheating coaches to ever walk the sideline. We had to…To avoid the death penalty. As you can see, the majority of this is on football and basketball.
This situation made us better as an athletic department
Now you know, back in the early 2000s SU was still using carrier pigeon for emails. But hey, it was pretty smart, they didn’t leave a paper trail. Folks shole did walk outta there with some degrees.System migration nightmares

And if it was systematic due to data integrations or migrations, shame on SU as a user community.
All jokes aside…We all had our shortcomings at one time or another. Hopefully all our schools have the technology issues behind us.
