Dude sit down somewhere. JSU is weak as heck. If anything those teams will probably get better.

JR, right now.. none of those teams are better than JSU so we stand just as good of a chance at getting better as they do.... BUT the biggest threats, the ASUs don't have any quarterbacks. We have 3 QBs who could start and win against our lesser opponents...
You know what's going to get better? The JSU defense!

Man you have no LBs and weak DBs. Where is Get Ready? Man you seeing something other JSU folks who are going to the games are not seeing. But oh well. I can tell you the consensus is this. Grambling could have beaten you worse.For some reason they chose to not expose your weak spots more. But that is on Fobbs. This is from JSU alums I have spoken too. Ones who don't just say shit to be saying stuff. Secondly, as we all have tried to tell you. You don't have the talent you think you do. Especially on defense. Your DL may be the best thing you got there and you got JJones thinking he has to do everything. LBs are not the normal JSU type LBs. And the secondary is not good at all. The best thing for you is to hope by the end of the season your Freshman Qb will have gotten good experience for 2017 season. Hughes will need to get rid of some of OMJ kids and move on. Alcorn will get better as the year goes on. They may not be Hopson good. But they will not fall to the bottom in one year. Passing and their defense is their issue. Bama State is a mystery. I don't see Jenkins just giving up all year. AAMU just don't seem to respond to Spady. My Jags will see what they got this week. They played good in spurts against PV.

JR, you know this is not 1985, right? And you do know that every JSU game has been available on TV or the internet, right?
So ok.. Grambling just chose not to score but two TDs on us for 3 quarters. They didn't score not ONE TD in the 3rd. Last year, they could have tried not to score and still would have scored.
U can listen to the barber shop crew all you want but how many times they been wrong? lol
As for our defense, they hold their own. You gone see! The only thing we need to get right is our QB situation. Adams or Lyles will get us on track week by week..
... and dude, Alcorn is NOT going to get better. I figured they would only be a shell of themselves this year that is why I predicted them to be 3rd in the EAST behind the JSU-AlaState winner but now that I see how bad AlaState is, Alcorn is "worser" than I imagined! JSU is a lock for Houston! if you can't throw, you can't beat JSU... no team on the EAST has an offense...
Im sure your JSU informants told you our season was over in 2012 too when we were 1-3... but they soon forget who they represent!

JSU DBs... our DBs are not that weak. Our problem across the board is depth but our first string offense and defense is just as good as ANY in the conference.

Its not as easy this year as last year simply because of the scheme. All teams got last year was a full, all out blitz on 3rd and long so they knew what to do. Hendrick is actually a good DC and does a good job confusing the offense. Dare I say, Hendrick might be our best DC since Big Daddy. When you see teams make those big gains on us, it's because our boys can't tackle and when they play off from the WRs, they miss one and get one taken to the house. But the tackling wasn't half bad last weekend and our DC adjusts our defense very well.
Now, Im not saying we can't use a talent upgrade... we CAN and we will get it with Germany and Hughes at the helm but we talking about right now and we got enough right to go undefeated in the EAST and win 3 out of 5 in the WEST.

JR says we got weak LBs but he is just repeating what somebody else is saying. Our top LB went out and we didn't miss a beat! After our TNState game I asked everyone why they so hard on our defense. They need work but the offense needs more work. I didn't have to do as much convincing after the Grambling game... When you have a bad offense, the defense is going to look even worse. The offense at least held sustain a few drives last weekend so that was positive. We just couldn't put points up... The points are coming tho..
...and we gonna see you in Jackson just in time.

We don't have the talent we are used to having but our staff is doing a great job disguising weaknesses with scheme. We should be able to compete with every team this year until we get our talent back up.
