Sht is a science to this game, that G is design to do this, they practice for this play.

Our teams aint getting to no second level, we aint teaching this, Get off the block and get to the second level and turn your body to create a hole for the RB, we aint teaching this to our kids,
Aint no Oline coach in the SWAC or O.C. teaching this technique to our kids, NOBODY, cuz I have yet to see it done on the field.

Our coaches are just yelling "Put a hat on somebody" smh, No bozo, You have to know what hat that needs to place at, you just don't put a hat on any dayum body,

you block for a blip of sec, get off that block, and move to the second level and drive/turn/block for a second to create a hole, the RB makes that cut.

Our Lineman, just block the 1st defender they come into contact with, they aint pushing and getting to that second level at all

That's the details I speak about and that's what our kids are not being taught. Aint nobody teachin these kids/players to blip block, get off, and hit the second level. smh.

But they keep it simple

Is it really a lack of teaching or simply because the players aren't/can't executing it? Because there is a hell of a difference. A coach can teach, emphasis and instruct players to do something all day, but they can't control whether or not those players are able to execute once the game starts.

If it was that easy as you stated then coaches would all be successful. Also maybe Grambling neutralized Danny Johnson. You know they do have Receivers who can get loose so just maybe the DC kept in coverage vs. Blitzing...? Good players can be neutralized. Julio Jones comes to mind..
 
Offense side of the game, our tree route is pure trash

Look at the slot WR below, he shakes the piss outta the DB, Hurts wasn't looking his way.

We aint teaching these kids to do this Lol, I have yet to see any WR do this move, a simple ass move


 
@Bighead I understand what you are saying, because I have had the same frustration with a previous DC at A&M. Our current DC runs a very complex 4-2-5 with roots in the 3-4. Its basically the same defense Saban runs at Alabama. Same terminology, same subpackages, same calls & checks. Our previous DC came from UAB with a bad, bland defense that didn't require as much and didn't take advantage of individual matchups.

Has this always been the case at SU? I seem to recall that practice time and scholarships are limited at SU right now, so that could be one of the determining factors in simplifying the defense. Complex defenses require a lot of practice time, independent study, and repetition in order to become 2nd nature.

Just a thought.

Teaching, because it's not being done, That was one simple play. So you mean to tell me, that No Offensive Lineman can do this?? NOT 1.

How hard it is to, blip block, get off it and move to the second level and drive/block/turn?

How hard is that?

They aint teaching these kids this, you can take that same Lineman from SU and send him to Bama, or UGA and you telling me he won't be able to do this technique?

Thank you, breh, you get it, Everybody coming up with 1998 excuse, saying we aint got players, and this and that, when all you have to do is teach these kids.

They wanna say, these coaches keep it simple, when that is a fat ass lie and I just dropped 3 to 4 clips in one game that blew that keep it simple crap outta the water.

Crap falls on these lazy ass coaches and yall wonder why they all get recycle in this trash ass league. Crap is night and day.

At SU, now that our talent Quinn, Tillery and others are gone, it's really exposed now so. Like dayum these kids aint running the correct routes right, they turning wide when they come outta their routes, the DBs, aint pressing, we got Danny Johnson, best DB in the SWAC and you can't use him to dominate a football game? you gotta put him on Offense to be an impact player? That's sad,

Breh, we can't even run a screen pass right, SU calls screen pass and I promise you we haven't gotten 10 yards or better from a screen pass call, now is that the players or coaching??

A screen pass breh, Our sht loses yards,

We called a screen pass one play and had 0 blockers smh, Crap was just disgusting and sad.

Lazy ass coaches not even trying at that point when I saw that sht.

And we coddle this sht

So you think all these coaches -- some of whom have worked at FBS programs, studied football and been to coaching clinics -- ain't teaching this stuff? LOL.

Folks wouldn't be in this thread with all these excuses for why it's not being done in this conference.

I dropped a clip that showed a DB playing MLB and another DB rushing off the end, got off his WR and rushed. along with a MLB.

Who in the SWAC is doing this?

I dropped a clip, where, pre-snap the LBs were positioned to force every to go towards the outside, What team in the SWAC is doing this.

This is coaching breh.

We just line our players out there on the field, with no focus on doing anything but making the dayum tackle.

Look at #84, Look at how he positioned his body to create that hole, if he blocks str8 up, that hole isn't created, he angles the his block, and the hole is created.

Look at it from the back view also

We are not teaching these kids/players this technique.

You really think we are teaching these kids/players angle blocking? or do you think we out there yelling "Put a hat on somebody" smh that dumb ass dialog


 
I'll be done after this,

Look at Riddly #3 wit the way he's blocking, sealing the edge. comes in and positions his body. You think he did that on his own, or do you think he was taught this technique?

Dayum WRs know how to block at an angle on plays, Our coaches aint that depth with their plays. Meaning

If I run this play towards the left, my WRs and left side of the line have to block at this angle, the SS has to be block towards the inside, RB have to come off or cut off the WRs left shoulder etc. They aint creating plays or thinking like this breh Lol.

They just calling and practicing plays and running them shts, not putting emphasis on what and how it should be ran.

Have any team ran this play? A simple ass play, but look at the blocking.



 
We aint creating match-up problems, look at this play

WR matched up against a SS on a clear out, Look at the route that's ran. WR is 1 on 1 with the SS and destroys him. That's all by design.

The QB needs protection for this play to develop, so that requires the Oline to block for more than 2 seconds.


 
I clipped 10-11 plays that are night and freaking day from what our coaches are doing in this league.

Every coach in this league. That aint doing this, and yall wonder why they don't get chances. They aint teaching at this level and in this depth of the game. Crap is a science.
