I know you really got to now think this Sheridan Poll is some real Bullshyt....how do a team beat another ranked team by 45 and get knock down a place in the poll for that week!:swink::lol:
 
To be honest, Bama State deserves the number #1 spot by default. They have no excuse to not win the SWAC this year.

They deserve to be #1 right now but they may not be good enough to win the SWAC or to run the table. Lucky for them Tuskegee seems to be pretty bad this year.

I thought JSU would be #5. I don't think SCState or NSU should be ahead of us at this point. WSSU and Albany State are probably not better than us but hey...they have the wins. Can't argue that.
 
Bama State is the best team right now. They just need to win out. But watch out for that bias against the SWAC!!!
 



Well Bama St still has to come to the MCC. It is on in BHAM. If we can win out up until the MCC, it will be 70K plus if the weather holds up.

who is going to beat Bama State? Honestly, I think JSU and ASU are the best teams in the SWAC this year.

I think in the Swac it comes down to how people match up. I actually think TXSU will beat them. A team that runs the ball well will give them fits. Not to mention that PB has a good ground game as well. PV, sTu, PB and even AAMU (especially since its a rival game) want be easy wins. For us this PB game will be tough and the GSU game will be tough (despite their record)
 
^^^^^^^ I agree with Nasty. To automatically assume any SWAC team will run the table is assinine to me. It's the SWAC....you never know WTF will happen from week to week. Good luck to them, though. Well, not really....we still got to play them, so I hope they lose at least one....lol

Anything can happen in competitive games but we are happy with the #1 ranking in all of Black College Football!! Go Hornets!!

There is only one good team in the SWAC this year and that is JSU. There are some bad teams like GSU, Alcorn and Valley and those are the teams AlaState have played and beat. The teams they have beat are like a collective 2-10. They still have to play the meat of their schedule.
