Alabama A&M vs Mississippi Valley State: Game Updates - 4:00pm CT

They did on defense. We had 10 sacks tonight. Only had 20-25 total last year.

If Spady quits bullshytting the offense and gets it together, we'll be alright. But his head is on the line.
He should've hired a OC and just managed the game himself. Its hard to do both

It would be nice to see Valley give the (melanin challenged) QB from last year a stab at running the offense. He seemed to move the ball pretty good in the couple of games he played..

Bray actually moved the ball well in the first half. Not so much in the 2nd half though. Once we tightened up the secondary, it was over.

Bray has potential though. He needs an OL more than anything.

Agreed. I can't understand why their line is so bad with a great line coach.

Usually when a position coach or coordinator has a positive track record and all of a sudden can't get productivity out of his group, its the personnel that is the issue.

A&M had about 7 sacks and 5+ tackles for a loss. Valley's OL is likely D2 caliber.

Got to see the game live and in person (tight back problems, lightning delays and all lol). Bray doesn't throw INTs and does throw the ball away but he needs to do it more lol. 2nd and 10 is OK in the SWAC with his arm but taking sacks (and another fumble that lead to a TD for the second straight game) in bad spots stalled a lot of drives. As far as the OL is concerned, with 3 freshman along the line, you expect sacks but not like that. Don't know how many sacks AAMU had exactly but it had to be around 9-10. Hope they gel before the end of the season or Bray won't make it through it. Defense is not as bad as it was last year but they are definitely bend don't break. Outside of that bad missed tackle that led to the 2nd TD (on 3rd down), they played respectable. DBs can cover well but have to get those heads around quicker to eliminate those PI calls.

Heard some people saying in the stands saying they should give Jarman a chance. I was saying no to myself and then he threw another INT to seal the game for AAMU lol. If anything, I would give Rubin more shots at the Wildcat packages that they give to Jarman because he's a better runner but seeing all 3 QBs in person, Bray is the unquestioned starter.

Congrats AAMU on the win. On to Texas Southern

Bray made some good plays, especially in the first half. They have to get the ball out of his hands fast

Valley just needs to stay focused and yall will win some games this year. I'm thinking about picking Valley over Txsu, it should be a good game.
