Alabama A&M vs Jackson State Game Updates:

Its been proven that it doesn't take much to be competitive in this conference. If we hire the right coach we can do well in the conference next year. It will however take us a while to get where we should be as a program.

Ay TP,

Be quiet! I'm trying to listen to this Whoopin' yall getting.

Enjoy Mike....you won't get to experience this too many times. No matter what the score is....you are still ONLY AAMU. The lowly school.

Man stop.

I been saying we were losing BECAUSE BELL killed everything. COACHING, RECRUITING, etc.

Heck................If you are here in Jackson, you saw what I said on a thread here was true about kids not wanting to play for BELL. I said the same thing about the QB for Alcorn. You called me a lie.

I guess those 2 players from PROVINE that was on TV the day Bell got fired was telling lie's when they said now that BELL is gone, they will start looking at JSU again. :look:

Get real.
You know dang well what you typed up there is just telling everybody you are truly blind as to what's has went on in the OVERALL PROGRAM the last 2 years. :xeye:

What Irony?

The fact that we've pretty much scrapped what Bell was doing and we're still looking bad. McLaurin at QB, Cletis full-time on offense, more throws - this is what you guys have been asking for. Bell's system wasn't the problem, him being unqualified to be a headcoach was. When hiring the next coach we need to forget about styles of play and concentrate on getting the most qualified man available.

Harold Dorman scored again, because TP won't shut up! :lmao:

Game over!

52-6

Arsewhoopin!

Congrats Mike but when will your team ever win a SWAC title. If you get to play Grambling, I shole hope ya'll cross the 50 this time.

JSU has NO TALENT... Allen played AAMU better than JSU... I think we punted once or twice the entire game. McLaurin is GABBAGE.. throwing nothing but floaters all night.... was intercepted 3 times and should have had at least 3 more. JSU defense made Kelcey Luke look like Air McNair. We had over 650 total yards on offense.

I now cant blaim everything on Bell.... JSU just has NO TALENT. I aint seen that many dropped balls since AAMU played GSU last year.

Can't blame Bell? Who do you think was doing the recruiting the last three years. I will be picking PV to beat JSU next week. :shame: :shame: :shame:

That's what I said in the post above. These kids were not going to play for BELL. :shame:

This ain't as much fun without bell being the coach. But seriously. J State's recievers are sorry as hell. They dropped or missed pass after pass when they played Southern. We were amazed. But if you are a reciever that can catch, why would you go to JSU with bell as coach, so you can watch the running back run into the middle of the line 3 times before you punt???????

DAHILL,

McLaurin woulda looked a lot better if the WRs could catch the damn ball. Cletis included. I think they were just scared to get hit. He waited too late to throw a coupla deep balls that got knocked down. Difficult to run that type offense with these players. It's the exact same thing Bell did. Square peg, round hole.

most of his passes looked like DUCKS flyin in the air....he wasnt putting any zip on the ball....he should have had many more interceptions.

btw... Kelcey Luke had an EXCELLENT game.... 20-24 for 259 yards passing.... no INTS, and 80 yards rushing. He is just a sophmore... in the next two years he will be dangerous. In one stretch he competed 15 straight passes.

Robber, you don't have to try to explain things to DaHill. He has not been around this stuff long enough.

QB's and receivers take time to get in sync. Mark Washington's first few games as a true starter were horrible. Kent's first game as a starter was horrible. It happens. Aside from that...like you are saying, our offense is not geared to pass the ball and AAMU's defense, though not a good one, is not the one to learn with.

DaHill,

No one is concerned with Kelcy Luke. He did nothing but put up a lot of yards against arguably the worst defense in the SWAC. Nothing no one else hasn't done. I bet that most on here don't even know who your starter is because no one paid you any attention until last week. We came into the season knowing that our weakness was going to be D-line and linebacker. We had 7 new starters there and a lot of injury has hit them. We had no depth at those positions as they were the glaring weakness of the team in Spring and pre-season workouts. Our depth is at o-line, RB, QB, and the secondary. Everywhere else has players that need to be playing for somebody like AAMU.
