AFTERMATH:The Bayou Classic BOTB

Marcy it was mainly the song. Truth be told the young lady singing the song wasn't bad but you know at the beginning of Who's loving you the singer has to hit that intro with confidence and she didn't do that.

man GSu was the best they have been all year. they came in there with it on their minds and handled buzinezz. i dont care what ya say GSU took the win this year in the BOTB and on the field. stop hatin, and those so called boos ya heard coming in for halftime must have one or two people cause the cheers didnt stop for real the whole field show, go check out the film. Su got a lil house, but Gram came in and stole it all and thats a fact.

Dude if you think ya'll were even in the same league as SU during the BOTB's you need to slap yourself. Just because you wear a tux and bring out soldier boy does not give you a "W". It's sad that ya'll had to act that desperately and still had to walk away cleaned out. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

if im not mistaking, it is called a field show, we put on a show and got all the house we needed in the world. form when we first even stepped out of the tunnell for halftime. if you were there you would know that. it didnt stop there either, our formations were on point, the drill was on point period, the dancers got house, and our breakdown killed ya. thank you very much. so you right, we werent on Sucks level we are levels above it.

Dude please. Ya'll got what is called cheap house. All ya'll did was put up a smoke screen so people wouldn't pay attention to the garbage that ya'll normally put on the field. I was there and all people talked about when gSU came up was tuxedos and Soldier boy. They didn't say man that drill was tight, that song sounded good, they picked up their feet. They said gSU had tuxedos on and soldier boy. If you're satisfied with that then :retard::retard:

When SU came up the people said we sounded better looked better, the drill was better, the songs were better, ect. The polls don't lie and the people aren't lying. :)

Damn that aint no easy song to sing.

You ain't lying, when heard them come in with it, I was like .."Lawd I hope Temp brings it"....lol She's a soldier for fighting threw it though...

after that, GSU played an old school joint, forgot the name of it.... they got a little reaction for it after Panell said.."We have an old school joint too, I don't have a singer but I have 50k right hear to sing along with us.. Everybody sing with GSU band"... I think it would have went over better had it been written in the format people knew the song to be in, so it didn't have that great of an effect after SU slip up with the song selection.

After that is was back to what it was in the beginning.. SU punishing and GSU being a pretty good contendor...

After watching the clip...you can tell Temp didn't pick that song. It looked and sounded like she got caught up in one of those "Director got a brite idea...and, is going to make it happen, regardless" type deals. He!!, Doc used to do that all the time...

I know it's easy to forgive from this side....but, Temp gets a pass from me on this one. That's an ignant intro that alot of singers that's been singing for years don't even attempt...let alone be thrown out there to perform. That's a hit or miss from the jump song. Director's gotta know that and adjust.

You ain't neva lying...

at some point the band director becomes a coach and that was just bad play calling......but when you have the better team, a lot of times you can overcome that......and that's what happened Friday......they were so far ahead at the point of that song that they coasted the rest of the way.....no question......:swink:

The Battle of the Bands is never about Grambling......it is always about how well the Jukebox can entertain the croud.......The "World Shamed" just happens to be there whie the Jukebox is performing, the "world shamed" is just there to give the jukebox a breather between songs......there is no battle......hell when was the last time Grambling even came close.......we tried our best to give them a chance this year, with Mr. J's bad play call, but even that wasn't enough....and even with the little ground they may have made up by at least putting up a fight.....they gave it all back Saturday at halftime.....when they surrendered by waving all that white......The "World Shamed" dun changed into.............."The Average White Band"......sad....sad....sad.....
November 23, 2007 whether you want to believe it or not.:lmao:

Gram got booed when second they came out in those white Tux's. When they came out, the section I was sitting in yelled...

"That's so Country!"
clap, clap,
clap, clap clap...

:lmao:

They got booed after Cupid, Soulja Boi and Hurricane Chris came out.

PS...Gram...you're not supposed to where white after Labor Day.

:swink:

Someone is pissed because The World Famed got more reaction from their "Fan Nation" than they did.:lmao:Hate if ya wanna, they did it up.

Bone'O, don't waste your time. The fact is, GSU shocked SU. SU has shown their true cowardous ways and will say anything to make themselves seem superior because they just found out who their daddy is. SU will be SU. This is history, and SU will never admit that Grambling had their number. Can't blame it on the mics, because both of them were mic'd up. I remember this dude from SU talkin to me as I walked out. The Conversation:
Me: So, you enjoy the battle.
Dude: Mane, I can't lie, GSU showed out.
Me: SU did good too.
Dude: This must be your first time here. SU played "THE SAME OLD SH......"

Well, there you have it. They may as well be called the "S.O.S. Band" when it comes to the Bayou Classic.:lmao: Now, put that in your pipe and :pimp:
