After firing Hughes, Jackson State must get next hire right to avoid decade of irrelevancy

This is absolutely true. We made some bad coaching hires/decisions and it led to us having the worst stretch of seasons in FAMU history.

The youth movement is real in college football. You need some new energy to spark a program and rejuvenate the players. Not only do you have to hire the right coach, but he has the right staff to support him. JSU is one of those programs where it shouldn’t take too much to turn it around.

Nothing but truth in this article. The next hire could set Ashley up for a gig with a upper-level FCS or low level FBS program.

We’ve said worse about Hughes and his tenure in Jackson. Y’all just being dramatic like church women because y’all desperate for smack on the sports board lol

The article was almost as bad as Hughes career at JSU. Very remedial.

"Jackson State fired Tony Hughes after what can only be described as three seasons of going completely in the wrong direction for miles after the GPS lost its signal while passing through a town that has one stop light and one gas stationed owned by a dude named Roscoe."

SHAAAAAT!!!

But we always showed up and gave our best. We never quit and ran from a butt whoopin.
Uhhh...yeah...OK. If you want to smack about it. If moral victories make you feel better.... But when we did resume, those ass whoopins got so intense and consistent you all didn't even want to schedule us anymore.
