We win as a team, we lose as a team... but for the record, we got off to a 1-3 start with DJ as the starter. Rivers' first start last year was against PVU (we lost), then he started Concordia, Valley, JSU, UAPB, TxSU which we won. DJ came back and started the BC and SCG. With that in mind... their records last year as starters were DJ 3-3 and Rivers 5-1. This season (as starters), DJ is 1-6, Rivers 0-1.

Tell me about it. See that's where folks get so damn confused. SU and GSU were not to be fugged with during the Eddie Rob and Pete Rich days... To me those days are not gone it's just that each university requires people to keep the tradition alive while moving the universities forward using present day tactics.

Surely you understand the fan base at SU is excited about the prospects of who the next coach will be. Wait a minute, I had to remind myself that you are a TxSU fan. Your fan base don't need any advance excuse to not show up. Yall already got that on lock whether you are winning or losing. :lol:

Well you might not agree with this but Grambling lucked their way to the SCG. They only team they beat soundly was Southern. Every other SWAC game on schedule last year could have very well been a lost. Plus Doug arrogance is really catching up to him. When Grambling played us this year, they was up 21-9 against us in the middle of the 3rd quarter with a RB that was having very good success running against our defense. But Doug changed it up have DJ throwing alot more and getting alot of 3 and outs. Grambling defense starting getting tired and let us back in the game that we won 22-21. I guess you can tell that Doug and Spears are cousins because those are 2 of the most arrogant people I know.

I witness TSU's come from behind win over GSU here in Houston........GSU qb played well......gram is not getting the talent its use to having.......TSU exploided their defense really bad.........

Correction: Gram isn't getting the coaching that is expected. We have a coach on our staff who was renting cars two year ago before Doug hired him. Another had NO coaching experience at the college level before Doug hired him.

See the deal ain't about DJ... maybe with some folk but it's about winning. DJ's performance hasn't caused us to lose...but it also hasn't helped us win. That's what Doug has lost signt of...that's not to say it's DJ's fault. But use every bullet in your gun...especially when you are 1-7.

And I told them the only way they got that win over us last year as bad as we were was to cheat....ain't no way as bad as the SWAC refs are they missed all those calls and time clock mismanagement...IJS again!
