It is sad but we are actually having a down year. We are so lucky to be rated #21 in the polls. I hope our Freshmen and Sophmores can pull off a victory on Saturday.

For you, every year is a down year.
You are a nobody school. I bet your students and alums don't even know the alma mater. :smh:

MD we still got sophmores I thought they all had season ending injuries or went AWOL because we were playing jsu this week. It is good to know we have some expierenced players left. I feel better now knowing we can maybe keep it close.

But they are real young and from what I can tell they sought of grew up after the GSU Game. The were feeling great when we arrived in Grambling, but could not handle the pressure because of being a young team. Since JSU has the best team in the SWAC, we are in serious trouble. I believe ASU is the best Defensive team I have seen all year and if JSU is better than them we are again in serious trouble. Maybe TP and Get Ready are correct, we cannot be JSU. I hope they bring the band so they can have a little support. As you know it has been said that our band is the number # Band in the SWAC, but the band is a mean bunch.

MD, your band did not go to Gram and you don't go to Tx so how are you the number 2 band. Alcorn's band is ranked higher than yours.

...and MD, you are in SERIOUS trouble. AlaState was just a prelude to a beatdown.

Is it true that only 3 out of every 10 people in MS can read?

I think the stat is 1 out of 3 that now reside in Philly can read. The one MS transplant that can read is usually delusional and spew all sorts of contrived rhetoric about some school with a football coach named Commodegy.

But TP didn't we win the MCC in our down year which determines which Bama play in the SCG. I wish you would try for once to figure out certain things for yourself. You have said many time that Hughes can beat us, therefore, why not bring him to Huntsville on Saturday.

No, you can only beat JSU in our down years....How you beat SUcks this year is beyond me but JSU does not have many down years so you know that your luck has run out....

so basically your saying after we beat that jsue azz into the ground this year...Kenn should just kick you off the smack board!

you basically just voided all your "pre-made" excuses!:emlaugh:

What do you consider the last 4 years? Including your glorious 6-5 perfect season last year. Maybe I'm confused about what you consider a down year, could you please clarify for me and the world. You know yall are at the easy part of your schedule now so I'm sure you will have time to clarify since you are not on the phone with Commodegy game planning. Are you and JRob adjunct assistant coaches?

So are you saying that they fired the only coach that has beaten yall in the past 5 years? Maybe Comegy can turn it around since...no wait, yall beat him last year too. Oh hell, yall even put less less than a double nickel on him the last time he came to Normal!!! Either yall got JSU's number or Comegy's number...no make that "yall have both Comegy's and JSU's number".

Dayum Sippians... they need to call and ask us. (False) Pride is a helluva drug!!!!

MB quit instigatin. Gramblin barely got out alive against JSU and you know it.
That's why you attended the game. You knew deep down in your heart there was a good chance Grambling would lose, but you just had to see it for yourself. Next time, you WILL lose, so I see why you cheering for AAMU.

I would tend to lean towards the latter. Ol Commodegy has not had much luck against AAMU. He has probably dropped 10 -20 ounces(due to his high metabolism) in the last week worrying about coming back to Louis Crews the scene of his most humiliating defeat in his coaching career. You know AAMU scored more points than his waist size the last time he coached at Crews. That is going to be hard to duplicate this time around.

Keep holdin on to Tuskeegee's gonads. The last time JSU visited Normal with a decent team (under Hughes) what happened?? Next............

Unlike AAMU, we don't hold on long to coaches that can't win the big game. So far, we've won the big games, and Saturday won't be any different.

Obviously not, you been Christmas shopping the 2nd Saturday in December the past few years. Unless you mean the big games like(06)TnSt,Alcorn,Grambling(07) TnSt and Grambling. Oh wait a minute, yall did not win those big games. It must have been those other big games you talking about yall won. I don't include AAMU, inferiority complex games can't be counted as big games do to the fact it is a given that yall will role over like a Lynch Street vixen for us.

Poor JayRob or should we rename him JayBird?

MD and mjaamu, what's our SWAC record? Of course every team would like to win every game, but that's not possible, so the next best thing is what, the SCG. Now looking at the standings, what's JSU's record and what's AAMU's record? We're still in first place and that's all that matters.
The Grambling game was an important game, but it wasn't a make or break game.
You get my point now? I tried to keep it as simple as I could for SOME of you Bamans, but I got a feelin that people like MD still don't get it.:smh:

Winning six games in the '06 season in less than a year after b*ll, was a miracle in and of itself. In '05, we were 2-9; in '04 we were 3-8 or 2-9 and in '03 we were I believe 2-9.

Right now, we are light years from where b*ll had us. What other school could've recovered from the depths of football despair so quickly, other than the school with the letters J-S-U? The answer is no other SWAC school, period.:lecture:

Since we both lost to the same opponent and have the same conference record would that not make us tied for first?
