AAMU Basketball Final Three Weeks

Now that you know that we do not have a good basketball team, tell your coach over the next three weeks to use us to tune up for the SWAC Tournament. Tell your coach that he can rest the starters. Tell your coach that we are the worst team in the conference.

Over the next three weeks we will play:
Alcorn
Southern
Texas Southern
Prairie View
Grambling State
Jackson State

According to everyone I have spoken with TSU has the best team in the SWAC.

Up until last week no one wanted to be the team leader. Now that the leader has taken over we are going to make you suffer for the first part of the season. Just as the #1s in Div1 cannot hold on the same goes for your team. Look for the Bulldogs on the predetermined date.

GR, said we haven't been talking basketball, but the fact of the matter is we have not been playing basketball. It was hard for us to make the adjustment in the SWAC because the format is for weekend games only. Now that we are jelling look out.
 
I must be right on this one. none of the former big three will post because you are afraid of the Bulldogs from Normal. In addition, the officials just might allow us to play ball the rest of the way. You cannot keep a good team down that has not had a losing season in 17 years.
 



I listened to the AAMU boradcast last weekend and I laughed when Pettaway said his team is playing like their not coached.
 
You fellow smackers must have learned to ask questions base on how information is covered in Sunday School. It is a known fact that the penguin is the most useless bird on the face of the earth, but by your questions when you are presented with facts has left me with trying to come up with a way to associate you with the penguin. If you keep this up I may have to get TP to address the facts concerning the next three weeks.:( :confused: :confused: :confused:

A few weeks ago I told the board that I was happy with the way my team was playing. Of the top 7 ranked teams, JSU (at number 7) looks just as good as the number one team. The thing that we have to always remember is that when you are named JSU, you were born a champion. So come tourney, don't have a surprised look on your face, when JSU makes it to the BIG Dance.

MD, you all can't even win bowling anymore and JSU is going to wipe the field with your softball team. We gave you four years to prove yourselves and you failed. Miserably.

Well, remember. You do have to take a trip to Jacktown, the New, Bold City! We will see how long you will be in that 1st spot then. Just ask the previous 1st spot holders. ~snicker~

Well one thing to consider......We finished in front of jsue in football and in b-ball over the past four years and this year ain't over yet????(3 of 4 years in B-ball 2 of 4 years in football).

AAMU full SWAC member since 1999...
'jenny sue' jsue 'tiny tiggers' full SWAC member since 1960-61????

For a group that is not worried about AAMU......"L" y'all spend one "L" of a lot of time worrying about what THE MIGHTY BULLDOGS OF ALABAMA A&M are doing????

The fact that we were playing for championships, and you were at home playing jacks legitimizes those years. Even a 'sippian should be able to recognize that!

Did you win any championships?? You all PROMISED us that the only reason why you all were not SWAC champs is because you did not qualify for the tourney? What's wrong now?? And you finished in front of us 2 out of 4 years in football but who won all four games? Who has has a losing season in the last 4 years? Don't look this way. Ya'll aintonjsu'slevel. You suck.

You're right, weaintonjack@ss-sue'slevel! We couldn't possibly have pulled off a c**n circus, and hire a high school history teacher/coach quite the way you did!
 
No you hired a coach who could not beat Hughes. We might not have a championship but we have left a lot of bodies laying by the way side after we kicked that arse. Since our last title run, we are 46-22. Name a coach in the SWAC that can top that. There might be one.
