Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Tell us how you really feel!

Wow. That was the saddest shat I ever read. He's basically saying please fans continue coming to the games even though my cash cow has left the building. Fugg you Lebron I'm going back to empty seats again.:lol::lol:

What a loser.

That muthafugga bout crazy.... LJ MADE that sorry ass franchise.... Now I seriously hope they go from first to worst.

No PJ..what he's simply saying is what YOU said earlier.

LBJ is a batch.....remember?

Sounds like he is planning a attack on james or sumn lol. Saying stuff like "we will win before lebron will" makes me believe that he will pay some scrub on an NBA team to take james out....:smug:

Nah. A fan I can understand but as an owner this is below sad. Lebron don't owe the Cavs nothing. He actually made that sorry arse organization legit.

I know, right. The owner talks about loyalty and betrayal, but he fired Mike Brown a year after being named coach of the year and leading the Cavs to the best record in the East two years in row. How does he think Mike Brown and Danny Ferry feels tonight?

PJ you said the man would be a batch if he left the Cavs plain and simple.

Now what's change? He took batchicillin are something?:lol::lol:

LOL

The City of Cleveland forgot who they were for a minute. They are trippin', as if that dude actually owed them anything. It is unfortunate that he couldn't help bring an NBA championship to the Cav faithful...but after all that Lebron did manage to bring to Cleveland and the Cavs, these fans are sure ungrateful.

They should have been like, "thanks for everything...but we can do bad without you..."

LMAO

Anyway...good luck in Miami.

Rockets in 2011!!!!!!!

Or Paul Salias
Or Jim Paxon

He helped send them packing in some form or another.

You think Usher is enjoying this? He a minority owner of that team too.

That muthafugga bout crazy

He's looking at how much money that franchise could lose with Wade's bytch now gone.

You go from selling out the arena every game to maybe having WNBA, SWAC, MEAC, Big 10 and even D-League teams having better attendance than you.

You go from companies fighting for ads during Cavs games to begging folks for ad space?

How many business owners are looking at thier LJ merchandise that no one will buy now?

How is he going to make that team attractive again? McGrady? Shaq? Nate Robinson? Starbury? ARENAS?

I don't even think Mark Cuban would have gone this low.

If he still had his tv show, he would have and done WORST..

Maybe if the Cavs owner used that extra "motivation" he has now to make the Cavs a better team when Lebron was there, maybe he would have stayed. What can he do, now that the best thing to happen to the Cavs has left? What big name superstar will sit on their former "King's" throne now?

The Cavs are DONE!!!!

Nothing like a little reactive hate to really get folks to thinking...

So if you are the owner, which route would you go?

Overpay for someone to replace Wade's bytch? Atlanta is about to prove that doesn't work (again).

Or follow the Piston's way and just get guys that can play.

Or save money sign some guys cheap and wait on next year.

Or give a guy like Trey Johnson or Morris Almond a chance. Let them sink or swim playing a full season and milk off the underdogs finally getting thier chance to play on a NBA team for more than 10 days?

Or set the record for fewest wins and make Fred Carter happy.

Gilbert also told the AP that it's "accountability time" for James.

"He has gotten a free pass," Gilbert said in the interview "People have covered up for [James] for way too long. Tonight we saw who he really is."

Gilbert also told the AP that James quit on the Cavaliers during each o the last two postseasons, most recently during the second round series against the Boston Celtics.

"He quit," Gilbert said. "Not just in Game 5, but in Games 2, 4 and 6. Watch the tape. The Boston series was unlike anything in the history of sports for a superstar."

I do agree, it was clear that Lebron quit. I think he fired Brown because he thought that would keep Lebron in Cleveland. What probably makes him more mad is the fact Lebron basically wasted 2 weeks of time while Cleveland missed out on chances to get Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay, and other superstars to replace him. Now Cleveland has to find a SG/SF that can at least half-way fill the void left by James.

If Lebron really wanted to win, Chicago was set up to be "THE" team. They unlike Miami would have a full roster complete with a good supporting cast.

Wade and his two friends have no idea what their team is going to look like. That supporting cast is important, because you never know when an injury will rear its ugly head.
