74 Billion?

Iceman:

3 millions barrels a day of oil from Iraq (production currently being covered by countries, I might add) is just a drop in the bucket (another figure of speech). It won't have the impact you cite. And regardless of what it does for corn, the impact of the major industries I cited and its effect on other business sectors, people, and the economy lessens the effect of the oil even more so: corn, too, if people don't have jobs or the money to buy it; again, the demand side of the equation.

12 months after this "war" is over we'll know what the impact is and we both will be able to assess whose view was closer to correct.

Until then........

Regards.

Looking at this gas reciept

Dayum, I thought we was gonna get some relief on the gas around here by now? What is Bush doing? Why haven't my gas bills gone down and why do I still have a relative in Iraq, Makaho? :shame:

This is pissin' me off!

Thanks for the low interest rates, I guess that's suppose to shut me up.....

Yes Mike, it was suppose to shut you up. Bringing more money in your right hand from the tax cuts and sending out more money in your left with increases in gas, food, etc. Left, Right, Right......

Update!

The man in the Whitehouse is asking for another 65-75 billion dollars.....

What did I tell yall earlier in this post? :smh:

yeah, yeah, yeah,, but the U.S. armed forces MUST be given the resources and everything they need to clean up Iraq and bring these insurrectionist terrorists under control. We're in it now, and we can't have no more of this Vietnam BS, bottom line.
