When I tell you these people have no shame believe me. Under the Republican 70 billion dollar tax cut passed bay Congress and expected to be signed by Bush, the avg citizen will receive crumbs. If you make 20-30K a year expect an additional 9 dollars a year. If you make 50k a year, expect 46 dollars a year.

<sarcasm>

No no...this will all trickle down back to us in the form of lower prices as these millionaires who own companies will pass that right along to us rather than pad their profit.

</sarcasm>

And they just don't know how brainwashed they are.

See what really happened to this country economics dire downward trend is that government workers,federal,state,and city were political pawns of the 80's and currently. During the 80's most states had over 40,000 workers that worked for programs that were federally funded.

Now today,most states have employees of about 30,000 or less. See those salaries the government workers earned was around the 20,000 mark or higher during the 80's. So if the if the government cut at least 10,000 workers, let's see that's an extra 200,000,000 dollars a year that local state governments saved. But see what people don't realize is that the local economy lost 200 million dollars because those government workers are now out of the economic cycle. The local economy lost 200 million dollars and the government gained 200 million dollars.

So what happens to that 200 million dollars that the government saved by cutting government employees? See lawmakers don't realize that those government workers spent that money in the local economy by buying homes,cars,food, appliances and other services of need. Local businesses were thriving as long as the government paid their employees so they can shop. The 80's and 90's were the decades of CUTBACK'S. Politicians both Republican and Democrat used the rhetoric "cutback on government spending" to constituents to stay in office.

See in the 80's and 90's when the government cutback on their employees private industry had to do the same BECAUSE THE CASH FLOW was decreased,they could not afford to keep some of their employees.
Right now in state governments all across the country you have employees during the jobs of three or more people,most of the employees are temporary,meaning that they will not receive any benefits.

If you were ever on unemployment and it took a long time for you to receive a check,it's because the agencies are way understaffed because of CUTBACKS. To sum this up though,TRUE TRICKLE DOWN economics starts with the government paying it's workforce and that workforce spends that money with local businesses. With all the taxes the federal and state governments are receiving,they could EASILY afford to pay government workers,local businesses can't afford it because they depend on customers for revenue and NOT TAXES.

Raising the minimum wage does not help either,because the businesses have to raise their prices in order to pay their workers. Sad. It's a pity your senators and representatives cannot see this diliema. You don't have to be Mr. Greenspan to figure this out.
