I just heard over the news that its going to cost 7 bucks to buy a pack of cigarettes in New York. Can you say nicotene patch. If that isnt an incentive to quit, I dont know what is.

Dayum....a pack a day will cost 210 bucks a month.

Dizzzzzayum, that's why I smoke Ashton and Lars Teetans cigars. They are about $6 a pop and I don't have to deal with Mike Moore's suck arse commercials with the lil rat and ISHT!!!

It won't faze the hardcore smokers, they by cartons anyway and they probably wont even notice the difference.
The smokers that buy packs at a time probably will quit, thats a whole dayum lot to pay.

I can see people going across the state lines to buy their smokes. I wonder is it illegal to ship cigarettes across state lines? If not you can bet there will be a increase in care packages going to NYC.....

Peer pressure and the fact that older members of my family smoked played a role in my decision to pick it up.

Well it played the opposite effect on me and encouraged me not to smoke.
