lol-TSU had free parking last week and folks were so appreciative of that - its the little things that matter
That was because they played at a high school stadium where they normally don't charge for parking and they were giving away free tickets to parents and students that live in that school district. There still wasn't 8900 there in a 10K stadium where the band took up half of the side of the stadium they were on.

but it was free - which meant they could spend more money "inside" the stadium and gladly pay tickets at the door -them and the concession stands appreciated it

Was it really a sell-out at PV as they said today? I know an alum with cash in hand who couldn't get in and walked off

They should have bought early. Our Houston Alumni Chapter started selling tickets in late June and sold out of our allotment. Folks need to stop waiting till the last moment to buy game tickets and get left out.

I think A&M has out priced itself. You can't charge $56 for a ticket. 40 for parking and $20 to tailgate thinking you're going to pack the stadium especially for a sorry team.
The $20 dollars is for people that DONT have a game ticket and just want to tailgate. We had 11,900 last time we played Miles in the Louis Crews Classic in 2018 with lower ticket prices and lower parking… BLACK FOLKS are going to complain no matter what. We say we dont want to play money games (we have ZERO money games on the schedule)… but want to complain about ticket prices. Make it make sense.

I fully understand what you're saying. The problem is A&M didn't do a good job of communicating with people. The folks like us who are true A&M fans will come and regardless because we understand that it's part of helping the school win or lose. The other folks who are always on the spectrum and we know there are a lot of them when it comes to supporting the school the Athletic department has to communicate better. Once the Internet rumors start it goes ballistic. I will give them credit when misinformation was all over the place when we were buying tailgate spots I sent the Athletic department an email telling them what was being said and told them they need to get on top of it. They replied and told me thank you and an email came out the same day giving instructions and what was going on. I sent them an email this morning about the rumor mill and I know they are more than likely going to respond.
