You know it's bad now when the transfers are transferring before they even play a game

Sorry to the admissions, registrars, academic advisors, compliance, bio writers, etc who busted their azz to get them into school at midterm only to see them go before anything happened

After talking with family, after much thoughts and prayers, and reflections?
I just look for that line nowadays and skip all the rest of that Chat GPT bull junk that be on the post. SOME of these kids on a college football tour and not even smart enough to write their own statement because they don’t be in class. Lord, where did it go wrong ? Smh.

These cats transferring after spring practice before they even play. Then in the summer they land with a school and play one semester. Then jump in the portal and be at another school for spring drills.

They on a college tour and majoring in trying to the best NIL deal for right now. Many will never go pro and they know it…so they exploit the system trying to get as much money based on great high school stats and being considered a 3 star coming out of high school.

Too many of our youth are encumbered in a "Rap" culture that emphasizes "Me and Money"............like Deion said "Must Be The Money"!

Founder, Tennessee’s QB , who was set to start this fall in Knoxville held out because he wanted more than the $2.4 million he was already set to get. Tennessee said yeah, see you , bye. They should’ve regulated NIL money stuff when it first happened. It’s only a matter of time before somebody in the HBCU realm tries this foolishness.

I personally believe the pay of coaches should be lowered and the bonuses coaches receive 50% should be split equally to players (TAX FREE).

Yall, please pardon my ignorance, but how does NIL work? When you say "the $2.4 million he was already set to get", is that per year, or the entire length of his eligibility, or what?

NIL value should increase/decrease according to a player’s performance. If Tennessee doesn’t want to pay, somebody else will.

That’s what he was set to get this season but wanted increased to 4plus million.

There were no winners or losers here. The quarterback asked for more money, and Tennessee said no. Both moved on. It's no different than any other negotiation outside of college sports.
