Just want to give props to the Alabama State's men relay teams that qualified for NCAAs in Austin, TX in a few days (4x1 qualified with a 39.52, and the 4x4 qualified with a 3:07:79).

Jackson State's high jumper Sherman Hawkins qualified with a leap of 7' 1/4", UAPB's Caleb Snowden qualified in the men high jump. 7' 1 1/2"

Texas Southern's Chadrick Williams men's triple jump. 51'4 1/4"

North Carolina A&T's men 4x4 relay qualified with a time of 3:08.13. 2 of their 400m guys qualified (Reheem Hayles 46.74 and Shemar Chambers 46.89).

Good luck to all participants, especially the ones from HBCUs. Looking forward to seeing yall in Austin.

Oh, if I have overlooked anyone, feel free to post their names here.

Bama State is usually pretty damn good at the olympic sports. Even when I was there the women's track team was pretty good. Used to sit out there in that heat and watch em practice sometimes. Then again football was pretty decent then too. That was the Darnell Kennedy years.. I had like 2 classes with that dude.
